Old Mordekaiser

This is something I've been wanting to say for awhile. Riot why do you rework champions. It honestly just ruins the champ for most people and its not fair. An example being mordekaiser, a champ not loved by everyone and may have been buggy mess, but that's why a few people did love him. Changing his entire kit while only leaving maybe the shield aspect in is actually disgusting and he did not deserve that. I wouldn't mind a rework to his ult as that was where the source of most of his bugs came from maybe making it only do the damage and not summon a ghost, but taking a champ and just basically changing everything about him is not what we wanted. I'm sure a lot of people like new morde, but he would honestly be better as a separate champion. I think that future reworks should just be made a separate champions to keep the old ones around. The rework made people who were dedicated to morde quit league entirely such as Mid Mordekaiser who loved how goofy he was and not this modernized brain dead version of him. Reworks should only be done if you are going to change certain things about the champ such as pantheon with his e mechanic and also tweaking his ult and q. Morde didn't have much going for him, but he was still to the few out there that played him special. I know riot has never gone back on reworks mainly because they want to move on with development so I'm not expecting him to come back, but I would like to see a game mode featuring old versions of champs maybe to the people who didn't get to experience such a unique champ. Thank you for reading and I hope I get to see my favorite champion again in the future.

Respectfully disagree. I have played old Mordekaiser (original), reworked Mordekaiser (ADC Morde), and modern Mordekaiser (the one we have today) and personally I enjoy the new Mordekaiser more than ever. I really only miss his old ultimate, which while cool really didn't fit into his theme as a juggernaut.

"Morde didn't have much going for him"

That's why he was reworked. Sure he might be OP at certain points in the meta, but they turned him from a troll pick to a meta bruiser that can flex into a lot of team comps and is very fun to play.

feel the same. its odd they just delete some champs entirely. old sion was my first love and then he was gone . i probably wouldn't have turned to satan if sion never changed.
