Possible Ao Shin Teaser, Bard: Mountain

So, while this is theoretically possible, in my mind this has a 99% chance of not being true.

So, in case you haven't seen the Bard: Mountain trailer yet, you should. You will notice that there is a blue artifact that an old man was carrying. A Rioter revealed that this artifact may actually be an Egg.

The sphere is a dangerous magical amplifier.

Regarding: "We'll die ... without it." The sage failed in his duty when he tapped into the egg's power and took a life, resulting in the destruction of a nearby mountain.

All of the players saying Bard took the item away to prevent further catastrophe are 100% right.

So, given that this MAY now be an Egg, ( possible, not probable) the question that I had was what if this was Ao Shin's Egg. I mean, we don't really actually know that much about Ao Shin's lore, and we haven't necessarily been told that Ao Shin already exists. He could be hatching. We did learn, however, that he intervenes with runeterra when great troubles arise, just like Bard. What if though, when he arises, he actually hatches from the Egg.

And since he is a Celestial being, Bard didn't really do anything in the war, like save people from being killed by Noxians, but he may have potentially saved another Celestial Being like himself.

As I stated before, Possible, not Probable. I do however feel like this would be a pretty awesome piece of lore to incorporate into Bard's AND Ao Shin's background.

Let me know, is this actually a feasible assumption?

I like the idea, particularly because I love seeing champions interact with one another. It adds depth and interaction to the world and to the champions involved. For instance, I wouldn't care much about Leona on her own, but her relation to Diana gives me a lot to think about and cements them as two of my favorite characters.

I think it is unlikely that the artifact was actually an egg, as most eggs spend more time developing into something other than an egg than cutting mountains in half (though Eggnivia has been known to teleport from time to time). Given whose egg you think it might be, I'm willing to overlook that detail and support your theory simply because I want it to happen. With the removal of the Institute and League, a lot of in-lore character interaction has been taken away, and something like this would be a nice way to start building it up again.
