Should Riot Add a Custom Skin Creator?

I truly think riot should consider making a custom skin creator for your champions. This is already being done by other sites such as map skins but riot makes no profit out of it and other players can't see the skin. I really think riot should just let you make your own skin in a skin creator for a certain amount of Rp. Then you would be able to use it yourself for other players to see. The only rule is that they would have to add a system were u may report a skin for being inappropriate and their should be certain limits. Such as nothing sexual, racist, homophobic,etc. If you were to make one you are to be banned from skin creator. All in all, Riot you should consider making this feature in the game and it would really be cool.

The main issue here is that you intend the skins to be visible to other players -- there's a huge quality control bar there, especially in a game where Riot is trying to up the quality of their champions so that none remain under the new high bar they've set for visuals.

Allowing players to even just COLOR their own skins leads to awkward situations where they can make truly garish creations, or, worse, skins that blend into the map background colors to provide them a tangible advantage during gameplay.

It would also require more data storage for every player, and a lot of time spent developing the new system -- Riot skins use hand-painted UV maps, which you'd have to break down and figure out how to allow a player to edit them. If you wanted the ability to customize the model itself it would get even MORE complex.

So a ton of downsides and complexity for a system that doesn't bring in any extra money, and actually DISCOURAGES players from buying content. Not sure that's worth the cost.

I'm 100% sure they wont do it, just because they wont be able to profit from it, if they allowed it, the company will lose money just cause people wouldn't buy skins anymore, instead they would make their own and just use that
