Riot, you have truly outdone yourself this time

So, I just played the best game of League of Legends I've ever played, and it was, by far, the most enjoyable time ive ever had playing this game. Now, the game itself went pretty much standard, I didn't do exceptionally well, and i was lagging for a good portion of the game (because my roomate is currently playing on the wifi as well, and im on the other side of the house from the router). I didn't do that badly, I went 5/2/27, and my ADC had a score that was something like 16/0/?? i didnt really pay much attention to everyone's scores. The game started of with some regular laning, and then we went into teamfighting as we took dragons and ended up getting Baron for the push to win. Ok, I'm not gonna lie, it was kind of a stomp.

But that's not what made the match so enjoyable. Stomps happen all the time, some for you, some against you, and for the most part, no matter what side youre on, theyre generally boring. But the thing that made this game so much fun was DJ Sona.

Holy shit. Is that a good skin. Like. Wow. I love everything about it. I love the thematic cohesion, i love the particles, the models, the sound effects, sona's voice, but most of all, I absolutely love the music. Now, I know you guys brought in some other composers to work on the project, but i gotta say, everyone who put their hands on that project has some talented fingers. My personal favorite is Ethereal, but I loved just cycling through throughout the game, and those transitions are immaculate. Like goddamn just the way one style moves into the next is so great, not only just for that one part of the transition, but as far as the entire Summoner's Rift soundtrack goes, you have Kinetic to stat of with thats pretty fast paced and super groovy as your battling it out and trading and stuff, then you have the beatdown music with Concussive, and then you go into something you can chill to and relax and recover and go back to base with Ethereal before you start to jam out and get pumped again with Kinetic, and the cycle continues. And, honestly, I feel like if you can master timing your transitions right, you can potentially pump up your team and give them enough morale to actually make the difference between winning and losing a game.

It's like somehow, you guys managed to make a support that actually helps the teams players, the actual physical people sitting at their computers, rather than just the champions they play as. I've never had that much fun playing this game, and its very easily one of the funnest experiences ive ever had playing any game ever. I would like to personally thank not only the team that worked on DJ Sona, but the entirety of Riot for facilitating it and making it possible for us players to enjoy such an amazing skin.

tl;dr: DJ Sona is incredible, and I love Riot :D
