Let's see if I've still got it.

Lore: His Gnarliness, the King of Koopas, has long been a thorn in the side of the Mushroom Kingdom. Roughly 80% of the Mushroom Kingdom's problems - and kidnappings - can be traced back to Bowser trying to kidnap Princess Peach and generally succeeding before that damnable plumber ruins everything again. With an army of diverse minions (thereby meeting the Diversity in the Workplace Act of '12) and a cadre of Magikoopas, on top of airships, Bowser is most certainly a threat to be reckoned with.

Well, until someone ELSE tries to kidnap Peach, whereupon Bowser is willing to shelve everything to team up with the Mario brothers to get her back, because how DARE they encroach upon his turf! Bowser is also inexplicably good at go-karting, golf, tennis, full-contact soccer, and Olympic sports, and takes every opportunity to rub it in the face of those Mario brothers. His favorite pastime is crashing parties by taking people's money when they land on his spaces.

Stats: Health: 580-2040 Health Regen: 8.0 - 17.0 Heat: 100 AD: 60 - 127 Attack Speed: 0.601 + 0% - 40% Armor: 34 - 90 Magic Resist: 32.1 - 53.4 Movement Speed: 325 Range: 150

Abilities:

Passive: Tough Guy - While above 50% Health, Bowser gains 50% Tenacity.

Bowser gains 1 Heat per second, and 3 Heat per autoattack. He fully restores Heat upon champion kills, and 50 Heat upon champion assists.

Q: Flame Breath - Hold to channel a breath of fire in a wide cone, dealing damage every half second while moving freely at 25% reduced speed. Each tick of damage causes the next tick to deal 10% more damage to any target hit. Flame Breath loses range depending on how much Heat Bowser has left.

Physical Damage per half-second: 10/18/26/34/42 (+55% total AD) Cone Width: 90 degrees Max Range: 400 at 75% or greater Heat Minimum Range: 200 at 25% or lower Heat Heat Cost: 10 per second Cooldown: 1 second

W: Flying Slam - On first cast, grabs an enemy champion, dealing damage and suppressing for 1 second. While suppressed, the second cast makes Bowser and his target untargetable for 1 second as he body flops onto a target location with his captive, dealing damage.

Grab Physical Damage: 30/50/70/90/110 (+50% bonus AD) Slam Physical Damage: 50/70/90/110/130 (+100% bonus AD) Grab Range: 150 Slam Range: 400 Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds

E: Minion Hurl - Grabs a green shell out of thin air or the closest minion or pet regardless of team affiliation and throws it forward, damaging and stunning the first target hit. Thrown minions/pets deal 50% more damage and stun. This ability can crit - in which case Bowser throws a Bob-omb dealing minion/pet damage and stun to an area around the target.

Base Physical Damage: 50/80/110/140/170 (+100% bonus AD) Base Stun: 0.6/0.7/0.8/0.9/1 second Grab Range: 200 Throw Range: 800 Crit AoE Range: 250 Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds

R: Giga Bash - Bowser briefly transforms into Giga Bowser for 0.75 seconds, marking the area of effect, then charges forward, damaging and stunning everyone hit before transforming back. Bowser is unstoppable while casting.

Physical Damage: 200/325/450 (+100% bonus AD) Stun: 1.5 seconds Range: 600 Width: 300 Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds


Damage Calculations on the Q:

Assuming level 5 with a total of 200 AD (an arbitrary number that is not wholly unreasonable): First tick: 152 damage Second tick: 167 damage Third tick: 183 damage Fourth tick: 202 damage Fifth tick: 222 damage Total over 5 ticks: 926 damage

Question: Why are you letting Bowser hit you for 2.5 seconds?


Bowser is meant to be played as a juggernaut that draws attention from allies onto him by posing a consistent threat. Tough Guy demands Bowser be attacked first to keep him out of the fight, while Flame Breath punishes ignoring him by piling on damage quickly. In terms of team utility, Flying Slam and Minion Hurl allow Bowser to score picks that turn into out-of-position enemy targets. Flying Slam is especially good at isolating enemies if Bowser is next to a wall. His high attack power and dangerous CC is offset by Bowser's total lack of anything resembling mobility on his basics - without a Frozen Mallet, Bowser cannot force anyone to stay engaged in a fight with him after his E has been expended, allowing most champions to leave the battlefield safely should Bowser lack allied support. This also makes Bowser highly vulnerable to knockback, as it takes too long for Bowser to return to the front compared to other melee champions.

There's also some fun in using Minion Hurl with allied/enemy pets, such as hurling Heimer turrets into bad spots, killing Annie with Tibbers, beating a Voidling with another Voidling, throwing an allied Heimer ult turret into someone's dumb face, chucking your Zz'rot voidspawn into turrets...If nothing else, I think it's the most fun thing on the kit given how effectively it sums up Bowser as dangerous yet comical.

On Movement: "Bwa ha ha!" "It's no Mushroom Kingdom, but this place'll do!" "Huh? Hey, where's my army?" "Those Mario brothers better not be here..." "You're looking pretty throwable..." "I should take Princess Peach here for our honeymoon! Bwa ha ha!"

On Attack: "Graawgh!" "I'll crush you!" "Hey! Stop moving so I can step on you!" "You're looking pretty flammable!" "Bwa ha ha! An easy fight!" "Where's the rest of you?!"

On Kill: "Bwa ha ha!" "Nobody messes with the King of Koopas!" "They don't call me His Gnarliness for nothing!"

On Death: Bowser is knocked into the air and on his back, flailing wildly but unable to self-right. He continues flailing while "dead". "Bwuh?! What happened?!" "Hey! Wait!" "I just...let you win, yeah!"

On Approaching a "Dead" Bowser As An Enemy: "Could you, uh, help me out over here?" "Hey! Get over here so I can bite you!" "You're lucky I'm letting you get away this time!"

Taunt: Bowser chomps the air in front of him a few times, then roars. "You really think you can take ME?"

Joke: A flagpole appears out of the ground. Bowser attempts to jump on the top to get a 1-up, but falls a bit short and causes the flagpole to collapse.

Surprised his ultimate isn't his signature "I GET HUUUUUUUUUUUGE!" through Kamek. However, I like the concept never the less! I have actually, believe it or not, imagined characters from Smash Bros into LoL before in my head, and Bowser was not exception. Excluding a few changes that are mainly visual, this is EXACTLY HOW I IMAGINED HIM TO BE, which is a good thing! This is exactly how I would like for him to be implemented into a MOBA if ever such a game existed.

Kinda missing his signature "Giant Bowser" and "Turtle Spin" tactics. E having a crit interaction seems out of place with the rest of the kit promoting AD-Offtank builds.

Made some changes.

Ratio tweaking on the basics so Flame Breath is no longer simultaneously "all of Bowser's damage" and "MY HEALTH BAR IS ON FIRE WHAT THE CRAP". Also, Flame Breath now slows Bowser by 25% to ensure that staying in range for more than 2.5 seconds is your own damn fault. Replaced the ult entirely. I'm pretty sure ramming the entire enemy team at once is peak Bowser. Heat gain on autoattacks reduced to 3. Getting 5 back, while a nice number, was a little TOO much.
