the thing that I love about rocket league is that skins, accessories, crates, and keys can be traded with any player so you can get what you want without rolling a dice or spending money. Id personally would love if league added something along those lines to trade shards or crates or keys. Especially as a one trick, i have accumulated about 40 keys but have 0 crates. I also have legendary/legacy skins for champs that I dont play and would love to trade them out for stuff Id actually like to activate. Oh you have red baron corki? I can trade you an annie in wonderlands shard.

It will cost Riot a lot of money and will open up Blackmarket sort of stuff

Well if done properly, it could work Lets say trading of the likes: One legendary for one legendary, or 3 epics or smth like that, but never for free It would basically remove the purpose of gifting anything then
