Community Yordle Champion

Greetings!

I have an idea for a Yordle champion, but it is very rough. I have a basic concept for the themes I'd like this champion to embody, but I need more perspectives and ideas to fully realize this one.

Simply, I felt inspired by the Dev blog post about Tahm Kench and how his ideation process. I know there's a strong and creative community here, and I know we are capable of coming up with something cool.

My rough idea is this: A Yordle (male or female at this point), who hates being a small, weak creature because they feel limited by their body because they have such a great mind. Also, they were paralyzed from the waste down, thus genuinely limited, too. As such, they dump their conscious into a collection of tiny hextech robots (i.e. any sort of nanobot concept, like the ones from Big Hero 6 except autonomous).

With the hexbots, this Yordle achieves their fantasy. They are able to take on a hulking form, as well as use their genius mind to control the shape and movement of their form at will. The champion's great irony is that they are still limited in a bodily form, and a form comprised of MANY individual pieces much tinier than the original, no less.

A lot at this point is pretty flexible. The hexbot idea seems cliche in terms of what it can do and how it does it. I mean, imaginative control and shape changing is a staple of Green Lantern rings as well as the aforementioned Big Hero 6 example. If we stuck with that, it'd have to be a pretty creative take on that concept, methinks.

Similarly, I don't just want this champion to be Veigar (big evil, little guy) mixed with Zac (made up of malleable parts that make him smaller/bigger) and maybe Rumble (wants to prove his worth via his mind in the form of his mech suit).

This Yordle hates being a Yordle, and in particular wants to be taller/bigger. That's the only non-negotiable at this point, because I think there is a story there. Someone who hates what they are and is willing to go to great, destructive lengths to be someone different; all to tower over those who once looked down upon them.

Any ideas fellow community?

So Rumble? The smallest of the yordles who made a giant mechsuit out of spare parts too feel big and strong?

I think if her prime motivation is hatred of her Yordle-ness, her core mechanics should be based around changing herself, adopting attributes of allies and enemies to suit her own purposes.

Alma, Identity Burglar Primary: Fighter Secondary: Mage

Passive Vim and Vigor Whenever an ability causes a champion within 1000 units to regain health or mana, Alma regains 30% of that health or mana.

Q Face Stealer Alma fires a linear skillshot that collides with the first champion it hits, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+40% AP) (+20% AD) magic damage to all units in its path. If it hits a champion, it returns to her, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+20% of target's AP) (+20% of target's AD) physical damage to enemies it travels through.

W Morphic Bulwark Passive- Whenever Alma is dealt magic damage, her bonus magic resist and ability power increase by 4/5/6/7/8% for six seconds, stacking up to four times. The same is true of physical damage, bonus armor, and bonus attack damage.

E Kinetic Bandit Alma dashes to target location, dealing 70/90/110/130/150 (+40% AP) magic damage to each unit she passes through and stealing 10/12/14/16/18% movement speed from each champion she dashes through for three seconds.

R Amorphous Apotheosis Alma sheds her own form entirely, adopting the ability power, attack damage, armor, magic resist, attack speed, and movement speed of his target for 7/8/9 seconds. Alma also converts her current percentage of health and mana into the same percentage of the target's maximum health and mana. (Like all maximum health and mana changes, the current health and mana do not revert when the maximum does.)

Obviously, these are just suggestions. Alma is intended as a midlane melee carry; her Q allows her to farm well, and her W and passive allow her to endure the poke that midlaners tend to have. In teamfights, her role is highly versatile; her ult allows her to become a tank, an AD carry, or to augment her own AP ratios with her enemy midlaner's Ability Power.
