I think Riot should add a feature where two summoners can trade skins and champions between one another. Why not? That would be a useful tool if you dont want a champion but you want another. You should also be able to gift a summoner a champion or skin that you own yourself, if you dont want it anymore or something. I think this is a feature that should be added, and my other friends agree.
Good idea, however some issues do come up with the concept. Accounts with exclusive skins, such as King Rammus, PAX TF/Sivir, Judgment Kayle, etc. can be bought (although against the rules) online and use the system to give the skins to a main account, and essentially ruin the value of the skins, because you didnt really earn them, you bought and transferred them. A balance could be reached in that no currently unavailable skins outside of, say, Legacy Skins, can be traded, and all trades could have a restriction that forces an equivalent exchange (ex. 750 RP skin for another 750 RP skin). This would definitely be a less messy version of the gifting system currently in place, as trading champions and skins themselves takes away the need for RP and, indirectly, real money.

No. I can simply make a new account, get the free RP, buy a champ and trade a 6400 champ for a 450 champ or something. Boom just got Rek'Sai for 450 IP.

The issue with this is Riot is a greedy company that doesn't actually care about its customers. Giving us any quality trading between accounts means less money for them, even if they designed the Mystery Gifting system to have a much higher probability on champions you already own a skin or were already mystery gifted a skin for. So giving us the option to trade off repeats would ruin their chance of getting money for us wanting skins on other champs, and the other player buying the skin we already have. (Take it from a guy who has 50 champions yet somehow was "mystery" gifted 3 Yi skins, 3 Annie skins, 2 Riven skins, 3 Ezreal skins (not pulsefire), and 3 Lee Sin skins. And I know for a fact they were mystery gifts and not straight-up gifts because in all but one case, I was standing looking over the shoulders of the pals doing it.)
