Suggestion for a new Pantheon Q

Hi, i'm a big fan of Pantheon's concept, but one thing that always bothered me was his Q. Anyone who has played against Pantheon as a melee champion knows it's frustrating playing against undodgeable spears, but even when i played as Pantheon throwing his spears felt awkward. A warrior renown for his combat abilities and he can only throw that spear at such a short range? as if he was so weak he couldn't throw it any further, nidalee can throw her spears at a super long range and deal way more damage and she's a jungle cat. At first i thought of increasing his range and damage but then i thought it would just be a shitty version of Nidalee's javelin throw, so i imagined the skill to throw the spear in a different way to a straight line. Here's my version:

Q: Spear Shot - Pantheon throws the spear high in the ear and falls to the ground, dealing aoe damage and slowing enemies in the area of the damage, scorching the ground and dealing damage per second.

In his lore it says that he was armed with his ancestor's relics, so i thought why not give the spear something that matches this concept, the spear can now be dodged but is not blocked by minions and now has more utility and looks way more badass. I realize other skills would have to change as well after this, i want you to ignore the other skills and just compare his old Q to this Q. Some suggestions would be good.

This is only a thought and i'm not saying that pantheon is a bad champion, he is not, but i feel like his q doesn't feel as awesome as his own concept so i brought forth my suggestio.
