Katarina gameplay update concept
Hello! Im a Katarina main and she's my second favorite champion in the game, but she's really outdated and the assassins rework did not improve things.
Here are my ideas for a Kat gameplay rework which keeps stuff from this current version.
Passive: Still the same for the most part, however, when Kat picks a dagger, her next auto will be a whip attack in a cone that does magic damage, similiar to Diana.
Q: Katarina will throw a Q in the desired direction (Skillshot with quite some width) and It'll leave a dagger there, if the dagger hits an enemy during the travel time, it will deal magic damage and bounce up to 2 more targets if there are, prioritizing champions, if not, the nearby enemies. The dagger will always reach the desired position at the same time, even if it hits enemies.
W: Whenever Katarina picks a dagger, she gains a stack of 'Sinister steel' (up to 3 scaling with the ability level). She can use one of the stacks to do magic damage around her and gaining a burst of movement speed. If she doesn't have any stacks, her W will throw a dagger on herself and gain the movement speed burst, she will be able to pick the dagger to use her sinister steel. There will be a cooldown between each W cast.
E: Still the same, but without cast time.
R: Still the same, but with some number adjustments.
