Champion Idea - Runtik, Rogue of Woodlands

I dont see a ranger type of guy in this game and i thought ill share an idea of mine. I wont make it too complicated to make it short and crispy for you guys. Also keeping it short cause riot wont implement it 1:1 they will add their own ideas and changes anyways. So the main idea as i already said is to create a champ that has a bow and sword type of gameplay where you can use ranged and close quarters combat. The lore should be in a way that he was a orphan that escaped civilisation cause he found joy in freedom. He learned how to survive and hunt off the land and eventually became a great warrior cause his reflexes have adapted greatly to combat in his life. The forest spirits found his talents to be appealing and empowered him with ancient warrior spirits and magic. The rest of the lore can be played with and many more ideas can be added to make it epic or have lore interactions with other hunter type champs like rengar and kha'zix.

My thought on his abilities:

Q - Runtik pulls his bow or crossbow from his back to engage in ranged quarter combat. His ranged autoattacks deal less damage than his sword autoattacks. While he has his bow equipped he can activate the ability again to charge a skillshot kinda like the varus q. Or it could be designet to be aimed at a specific spot with quite a good range to deal damage and reveal a tiny radius of the area while dealing damage when champion hit. But it wont deal damage in a linear line, just the area that has been hit.

W - Runtik starts to sprint over a short distance and becomes really fast kinda like teemos w but with more action. Upon second activation he performs a dodgeroll, which might also apply short stealth.

E - Runtik pulls his sword or dagger(s) to engage in close quarters combat. Upon second activation he slashes with his sword or daggers and deals a huge amount of damage in a short cone in front of him after charging the ability a short time. The ability deals more damage based on his movespeed.

R - Runtik calls his ancient forest spirits to empower him and amplify his abilities and movespeed while dealing more damage and/or also stun the enemy. The amplified e knocks the enemy back a short distance and stuns for a short duration while a bleed effect gets applied. The q skillshot and autoattacks deal more damage and apply a slow effect. Might also add some sort of stealth with dodgeroll upon 2nd activation while active, after which you gain a burst of movespeed.

So this is my main idea of the champ. He will probably need a lot of training and skill to play him to his full potential. If you find bad grammar keep it for you this aint my native language and sorry for it in advance ;D. I would love a champion with a playstyle like this and if you like the idea i got many more to go just tell me. :) Also, if this post gets alot of adoration i will work on constructing a more detailed lore and gameplay.

U should just pick and choose a kit that will work well together and rewrite this. Like I'm sensing you want damage based on move speed? So maybe have the abilities be based around that or something. Just don't do either this or that, just go with you think works best together.

He doesn't seem very interesting. The idea of a meely/ranged champion is already done with Jayce and Nid. But Jayce and Nid have very big differences between them, and different playstyles (arguable). This concept has a plain linear skillshot, movement speed buff, and auto attacks. Even his ultimate only buffs his other few abilities which doesn't sound very satisfying. The whole kit just isn't exciting and doesn't really have any playstyle or combos, because it doesn't have many abilities that actually do stuff. Overall, the kit doesn't offer any new ability, mechanic or playstyle. I would stick to one idea/mechanic/ability that you really like (that isn't switching from meely to ranged because that's already a thing) and design a new kit to revolve around it. Well ty you for the comment and tip! But as i stated the kit doesnt necessarily have to be exactly how i said it could be. It can have adjustments and stuff i just want his playstyle to revolve around being a hunter type of guy. Like being able to move pretty fast and trick your enemies with the dodgeroll and stealth and such. And also being able to assassinate. Dunno imo it would be pretty cool to run after an enemy and landing a charged swordslash and when they try to escape going for the final shot. i created this kit so he can use it in many different situations. like when youre low hp you can activate the ult when the enemy goes for you, roll to the side and land a charged e that stuns them and throws them back then pull out the bow and kite and turn around situations. I dont see any champ with a playstyle that comes rly close to this. Plus the bow shot doesnt have to be linear it can be made to shot further in the air to land at a specific spot without a linear line, while also revealing vision to make him moreof like a scout. Well thats just my nerdish dream of a fav champ :D
