[Concept] Pete Johan, The Forgotten Knight
Something quick to get this off my mind
**Short Lore **
Pete Johan was born a waif, finding purpose in helping others. His diligence gained the attention of Hecarim, who introduced him into the late Ruined King's army. He quickly rose through the ranks, attaining a position in Hecarim's trusted warriors. When tragedy struck with the queen, Pete Johan was happy to help guard the king unlike Hecarim. Slowly his spirit broke as he watched the King degrade. Hecarim's betrayal of Kalista pushed him to the edge, the chaos in his substitute family breaking him. A quick slash from one of Kalista's soldiers decapitated him, sparing him from seeing the bloodbath but not his resurrection. He became a mindless armored ghost, fighting between the ghouls that inhabited the Shadow Isles. Pete's mind slowly latched onto a job protecting a lowly untended graveyard. He routinely killed the mindless ghouls and cleaned the graveyard, finding purpose in his work. The work never ended, with the occasional lucid spirit regaling him with tales of the outside world. Eventually Pete came across a living child, an unfortunate escapee from one of Elise's many sacrifices. The child touched Pete's heart, bringing his mind out of slumber. He and the child escaped the Shadow Isles, with Pete's new goal of getting a new family for this child before he returned to his endless work.
Base Design
Heavily armored headless warrior. Uses a halberd. Flame spews from the neckline. The child (Susan) briefly shows up in spawning, before Pete tells her to stay with the shopkeep and throws him a gold coin. Susan stays there. Susan is in a patchwork dress and a pony tail.
Skills
Innate - Soul Sever
Hitting with the axe blade of spells increases the damage of all subsequent hits. Timer is refreshed by any damage from Pete.
** Q - Repertoire **
Chain Spell, you must hit at least one enemy to enter the next Chain. Pete cannot basic attack in the middle of Chains.
1st Chain Q Press - Pete slashes in an arc. Q Hold+Release - Pete uses the side hook in an arc, grabbing and pulling the first enemy champion hit.
2nd Chain Q Hold+Release - Pete rolls in target direction on first button press. Release for an arc slash that slows, increasing in slow strength if the button is held down longer. W Press - Pete does a short range hit with the cudgel, stunning the first enemy champion hit.
3rd Chain Q Press - Pete slams his halberd down after a delay. Soul Sever stacks are worth double for damage scaling and Chain Stratagem slow. W Press - Pete uses the spear on his halberd to push the enemy back.
** W - Chain Stratagem **
Passive : Hitting all 3 Chains of Repertoire grants an enhanced ranged auto attack that strikes all units in a line. Additionally causes Soul Sever.
Toggle : Drain Mana to grant a slow on all auto attacks and basic spells. Slow is dramatically increased based off Soul Sever stacks.
E - Shove
Active : Pete does a quick shove in target direction, pushing enemies back. This applies on-hit effects and can be activated between Repertoire chains.
R - Spirit Furnace
Active : Pete gains a shield and begins damaging all units in a large area. The shield is increased from nearby units with Soul Sever. Causing Soul Sever increases the duration of Spirit Furnace.
Things to note
Starting Repertoire removes the ability to activate Chain Stratagem until its over. You must activate it before if you want the slow.
He's best at fighting melee characters but wants to keep them at range.
Cooldown reduction is a must.
