Hey everyone, just figured i'd put this up here and see what you all have to say. I know that it would probably be op, but that said, there isn't a gold generating champ in the game nor do i believe riot plans on presenting one anytime soon and for good reason. However, i feel that this one that i came up with has a fair amount of balance to it while not making it so his enemies with have vamp scepters versus bloodthirsters six minutes in. champ lore is first, skip to the bottom if you just want the stats and skills. positive and negative criticism welcome. Buck The Mint of Runeterra When Valorans freed themselves from their divine leaders after the First rune war, several groups came together and formed the basis for the kingdoms that we know today. Before the second Rune war broke out, there was a brief period of time that the people of these fledgling countries came together to discuss how they would determine their boundaries. Among other things discussed, one was the topic of trade, the giving and taking of goods throughout the world by one person to another. By this time a simple barter system had been established, but there was no set meter to determine what had value and what did not. One person though, offered up a form of primitive trade: the coin. Soon, the other countries heard her advocate that there should be a central form of payment that could be made for goods and services, instead of trading what was on hand for them. Before the Second Rune war struck the world, a coin was entered into service, and persisted as the form of currency all the way until the end of the Third rune war. The Coinmaker, as the original minter is known as, created a place at the base of mount Targon/Gargantuan(I apologize as it was labeled gargantuan on the map I looked up) where, together with others from all city states, they minted gold and silver from mines all over the world, sending them back to their homes as a coin with a stamp of approval. Even after the third rune war and the creation of Demacia and Noxus as they are today, both city states recognized the neutrality and value of the mint, and so continued to have their coins minted there, with differing markings of course. The Coinmaker has changed for many years, the current one being a man by the name of Buck Bullion. Brought up as one of the few poor folk in Demacia, Buck aspired to be the richest man in All Valoran, and so worked hard to teach himself the traders art. He however, turned out to be better at making the coins than earning them, and so was sent to the Minting Company at the age of sixteen. There, he learned from masters and teachers, until one day years later he was appointed the Mint of Valoran, making him the one who minted all the coins for the world, a job he performed tirelessly, earning a tidy profit from the tithe that the city states paid him. With this money, he helped to lift up those who were impoverished in the world, giving the poor a chance that he himself was once given. That ended however when the Discovery at Kalamanda came along. At first it seemed beneficial to the mint as it meant a closer store for their own resources and easier access to the gold they needed to mint their coins. However, before the mint could officially declare the ground theirs, the city states of the world took it over, fighting over what could have easily been theirs to share, something that seemed to be a terrible mistake to Buck. He had been heading towards the city when he saw the clouds of the buildings burning as war had broken out between the armies of Noxus and Demacia. Despite his desire to turn and head back to the mint, he ran to the battlefield, unarmed as he went to try and find someone to help him calm the fighting, ending the hate and greed that fueled the battle. Before he could though, the Summoners of the league enacted the grand spell that created a stasis bubble above the city, freezing all, including Buck, in time. The summoners did their best to free and restore all those who were affected by the magic, though there were some who they couldn't fully restore. Buck had been at the edge of the battle, and as such was not found originally by the rescue teams. The Mint of Valoran was stuck in time for several weeks, before something strange happened to him. While he was in stasis, a particular spirit came to visit him, a soul that had leaked through the cracks of time and wound up at his side. Her name was Midis, and she was the first Coinmaker, his paragon and predecessor of several ages. She spoke into his mind, asking him why he was stuck. When he answered he didn't know, she was the one took a look around and who told him what had happened. When she asked who he was and why he was there, she was overjoyed that the mint had lasted as long as it had, but disheartened to hear what had caused such destruction. She felt guilty for introducing value, and hence greed to the world, resulting in so much pain not just in Kalamanda, but the world itself. She stood by his side for several days, a spirit and a man trapped in time, when in the distance she saw something stir amidst the earth. A massive beast taking the shape of a giant spider had broken through the underbrush nearby, spotting Buck in the center of the clearing. Fearing for her new friend, Midis offered to help Buck escape his temporal prison if he promised to help rid the world of Greed. Buck agreed, and in that moment, she sent a small vestige of her own magic, taking the shape of a pendant around Buck's neck, to free him from his temporal prison at last. Feeling himself able to move again, Buck began to celebrate when he turned and saw the mad creature coming for him, and using his better judgement this time, ran as fast as he could away from the raging arachnid. Not looking where he had been going, Buck came to a deep chasm that had been formed some time while he'd been in stasis. Unwilling to turn and face the monster again, he instead ran as fast as he could leaping off the ledge for the other side. While airborne, Buck felt something push him further along his way, and looked to see a large, burnished coin beneath his feet as he flipped through the air, watching as a shower of gold fell to the chasm floor beneath him. He landed on his feet on the other side, exhilarated at the site of his newfound power. When he voiced it aloud, Midis answered him through the amulet. I've given you the power of my touch, allowing you to take the very air itself and turn it to your own advantage. As long as you are willing to give for others, you will never be alone, nor out of options." Buck had gotten his wish, with a twist though; able to craft gold at will, he always made sure he gave to others, just as he always had. When he returned to the mint, every one of his workers faces stretched with worry, he reassured them he was fine, but told them he would be leaving for an indefinite time. When they questioned him, he simply answered: "share with the world." With that, he was off to down the road, sharing his gift of giving with anyone he saw along the way. Drawing looks of suspicion from the rich and smiles of gratitude from the poor, he meandered his way along Valorans for several weeks before he found himself at the Institute of War. It was there, he felt, that he could help free the world from the grip of greed. The Mint of Runeterra was ready to invest in the greater good.

"Give and I shall give you gold. Take, and I will drown you in it."- Buck Bullion

Movement speed 340 Health: 526 (+79 per level) total at 18: 1869 armor 32 (+1.2 per level) total: 52.4 Health Regen: 4 (+.64 per level) total at level 18: 14.88 magic resist 27 (+1 per level) total: 44 Attack DMG: 51 (+3 per level) total at 18: 102 attack speed .63 Support/ mid idea

His passive is the same for both builds Passive: shrewd investor Buck does not use mana, he uses reserve, which starts at 60. When he uses an ability, he consumes reserve to invest in the ability. It the ability connects, he gets 50% of the investment back as a permanent increase to his reserve. His reserve returns at the same rate as his gold per second.

Q: Coin Flip; Range up to 900. drops a coin every 180 traveled. Costs 5/10/15/20/25 reserve. 8/7.6/7.2/6.8/6.2 second cooldown. Buck flips through the air on a massive coin, dropping several smaller coins as he goes. Allies who step on coins are healed and receive a slight speed boost. Enemies who step on them are slowed and receive a greed mark. Champions can only pick up one coin each, doesn't affect minions or monsters Heal: heals for 100/150/200/250/300 (+50% of max reserve) health divided by the number of coins dropped. Speed up: speeds up by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 2.5 seconds Slow: slows enemies for 15/20/25/30/35% for 1.5 seconds Greed mark: enemy has a greed mark on them. If an ally champion deals damage to them, the mark is consumed and deals 20*targets level damage while granting the attacker 10 + targets level gold. (can only have one greed mark active on each champ at a time.) mark wears off after 2-3 seconds, your opinions necessary. W: Share the Wealth Range; 1000 radius. consumes 2/2/2/3/3 reserve per second per friendly champ in range (this does count towards increasing his cap when toggled on) Toggle. Off: Buck passively increases his gold per 10 seconds by 2/2/6/6/10. Toggle ON: Buck gives his allies 1/2/2/3/3 gold per second, as well as heals for three times the amount. E: Fool's Gold; Range 500, costs 8/10/13/15/18 reserve, cooldown 15/14/13/12/11 seconds Buck flashes a particularly attractive coin, taunting all enemies for 2/2/2/3/3 seconds. If a champion hits him while taunted, they take a greed mark and are dealt 10% of the damage they inflicted+30% ap as magic damage over 3 seconds. (only triggers twice per enemy to keep damage from being op as ekko ult before nerf, hehe) R: touch of Midis; range 750, costs 100/150/200 reserve, Cooldown 150/120/100 seconds Target enemy becomes a living statue of gold for 6 seconds, taking 150/250/400(+60% ap) damage over 3 seconds and being slowed for 30/50/70% for 6 seconds. They cannot receive healing (including spell vamp and life steal) during this time, and if they are slain by the team while solidified, grants each member of the team gold equal to 4/6/8% of the targets health.

Top/jungle concept. More tanky with a q that only heals him but still hits the enemy team. W still gives him gold passively, but turns into a shield equal to a flat amount + his current gold total that can be placed on him or an ally. this w was originally going on the support idea, but that seemed a little too much protective ability for him. again, your guy's call.

Health: 565 (+78 per level) total: 1891 armor: 38 (+1.2 per level) total: 58.4 Health regen: 4.5 (+.85 per level) total: 18.95 magic resist: 31 (+.9 per level) total: 46.3 Atk damage: 58 (+ 3.5 per level) total: 117.5 atk speed: .72 Movement speed: 350 Starting reserve: 70 Q: same as above only the heal and speed boost can only trigger on him not his allies, and it can target any non-minion creatures for the slow. Greed marks now apply to champs and large monsters too. W: Mint's Kickback costs 10% of current reserve CD 10/9/8/7/6 Passive: same as toggle off of above version. Active: grants a shield equal to a 50/100/150/200/250+ .50+ of ap that can be applied to either himself or an ally champion. Shield lasts 3/4/4/5/5 seconds. If the shield is destroyed before it expires, the target is granted 20% movement speed for the remainder of the duration. E: same as the above version, but scales with 40% of reserve instead. R: same as the above version, but adds his max reserve as damage instead of ap.

this second idea comes from the fact that tahm Kench will be out next. meany catfish, taking the bot/support role. if you take a moment to leave a comment, i'd really appreciate it, so thanks.
