Fiddle Rework

So Fiddlesticks is currently... well... pure garbage in terms of a pick. Don't get me wrong. a very good player can overcome this with mechanical skill and game knowledge.

But lets face it the guy is sitting at the bottom with a 45% win rate. And with current runes... they really kind of make life hard for a fiddle.

So to re-work him we need to address first what is wrong with fiddle sticks? Why is he getting his head caved in. And it boils down to 3 core things really.

  • His damage is mid-low tier
  • He is incredibly squishy.
  • He is reliant on not being seen as well as summoners.

So here's my theory craft a kit to help solve this a bit.

Passive: Dread & Terror Standing still or channeling abilities for 1.5 seconds grants Fiddlesticks 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% bonus movement speed, that lasts for 1.5 seconds once he starts moving. Being immobilized will not trigger Dread, and will reset the timer.

Abilities strike terror into your enemies fearing them away for .5 / 1 / 1.5 seconds. When hit with them. 10/ 8 / 6 second cooldown

**Sweeping Scythe **

ACTIVE: After a short delay swing your scythe in a medium sized arc in front of you. Dealing moderate damage and reducing damage taken by 7.5% for each opponent hit for 3 seconds.

MAGIC Damage 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 / 180 (+ 45% AP)

TARGET RANGE: 525 COST: 65 MANA COOLDOWN: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11

Drain

Fiddlesticks can now move while casting drain. But is slowed by 80% while he is tethered. Casting other spells will cancel Drain.

Dark Gust

ACTIVE: After a slight delay Fiddlesticks sends a mass of crows in all directions that after hitting their initial target can bounce to nearby champions, dealing magic damage.

MAGIC DAMAGE:» 65 / 85 / 105 / 125 / 145 (+ 45% AP)

Minions and monsters take 50% additional damage.

Bounce Range:150 EFFECT RADIUS: 600 COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 MANA COOLDOWN: 12 / 11.5 / 11 / 10.5 / 10

Mechanic explanation. If you are within melee range of a minion, monster, or another champion the crows can bounce to you. But if it hits a champion it cannot bounce to a minion or monster. It also only bounces once.

Crowstorm

Passive: While out of combat Fiddlesticks gains dread so long as he is in the jungle or river.

ACTIVE: After channeling for 1.5 seconds, Fiddlesticks blinks to the target location with a murder of crows flying wildly around him for 5 seconds, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies each second.

MAGIC Damage Per Second 125 / 225 / 325 (+ 45% AP)

TARGET RANGE: 800 EFFECT RADIUS: 600 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 150 / 140 / 130

all he needs is the ability to crit on his current q and E to be viable
