Make report abuse a bannable offense.

There have been quite a few times as a support that I've gotten the pop up window claims YOUVE been reported for verbal abuse.... from games where i didnt even say anything. Needless to say it doesn't go through.... but then again the person who abused the report system goes unpunished. That why i think report abuse, aka frequent and 90% wrong reports from a person results in a ban.

People who report incorrectly have their report value weakened until it means nothing anyway. Why risk banning those people who are trying to help things get better?

No, No and NO!

people (like myself) simply report people who are toxic, and generally people who are toxic for one game may not be for others. people who don't communicate, people who do rage, etc. However by Riot's standards one game isnt re portable. One of the things that is encouraged, however is reporting people who exihibit negative behavior. So essentially if you do that, people who report because they genuinely want to make the game a better place (and not nessicarily abuse the system but try to clean up) will get banned?

what about reports that cant easily be verbalized in the chat? refusal to communicate can be pretty hard to get through

Whats the time frame for these bans? it can take ages for a correct ban to actually go through as being correct. but "oh i got banned because that person was good again for 6 months"...

Finally your system doesn't account for other variables, like how much you honor, and mistakes made. I'm not sure if you noticed but sometimes it's pretty difficult to report people as that button is not directly horizontal to their name (something riot should definitely fix... Is there no reason a Grid can be implemented for an easier time?)

you just want to spite people who reported you... which is not cool. If a person abuses the function their reports get less recognition... plain and simple.

How would this work? I don't even know when people report me for sure. Even if they say they will, how can you know? Not valuable, imo.
