Changes to Kha'Zix base and GotS skins.

I'm just curious, wouldn't the proposed QoL changes to both these skins devalue Mecha Kha'Zix?

I mean they could have added a isolation indicator to the GotS skin on it's release, they had the code there and then from the Mecha skin so why didn't they bother from the start?

I mean now the only difference after patch 5.21 if this goes through between Guardian and Mecha is a voice filter. And I'm not sure that totally justifies the higher price.

Just my thoughts on the matter. Always thought it was silly to make a 1350 skin for a champion launch.

Edit : Downvote? This isn't a negative thread. But think about it, the indicator has been a perk of the Mecha skin since it's release and when the released Guardian of the Sands they didn't bother then.

So why now?

They did it because skins aren't supposed to give you an unfair edge, it brings in elements of pay to win which quickly ruin MOBAs. I am not saying that the mecha kha skin was unfair before, but some people did buy it for the advantage it provided.

Aye, this is a fair point.

I never thought that it would provide an advantage. Upon watching the video it still does, as the other skins don't make a sound once someone goes Isolated.

But hey, QoL buffs for one of my favorite champions, I ain't gonna complain! Though if they are going to do this, they should add a sound for all three skins.

I can't exactly say youre wrong... but at the same time it is a very good indicator, honestly it's probably something that should've been done sooner

I love it. Getting some love for my favourite bug.

I'm not asking for a refund either, I'm just wondering if indeed this devalues the skin. As of 5.21, if I had to choose between Guardian or Mecha I'd pick Guardian not only because of the price difference but because the indicator actually looks better than the Mecha one imho.

400 ish rp on a filter just isn't worth it.
