PROJECT Zed: Is is this a high quality skin?

Okay here's what's up: got a new skin recently on the PBE and the community is voicing their opinions left and right.

TLDR: I want to know what exactly make's this a high quality or poor quality skin and whether or not Riot has a finished product here.

Couple of opinions I've noticed just browsing for a little bit:

• PROJECT Zed's head is "peanut sized" and looks ridiculous on his robust and large shoulders
• PROJECT Zed's coloring on scarf/secondary coloring of blades is too bright/off putting (a lot of people aren't digging the blue, myself included)
• All other "PROJECT" skins have visors/vision slits in their helmets except Zed... why??? (Is this a bad or good thing? Is it lazy?)
• Hasn't received a real skin since release (2012-11-13) and now the next big thing for the Master of Shadows is a lacking model with a slight voice filter and cool particles priced at 1350 RP...

So LoL community and fellow Zed mains alike, why is it that our favorite dark ninja has bright white and blue coloring in this skin, why does he have such cool particles that don't match his model colors at all? What happened to his poor egg head that it got shrunk so small? These are questions I would LOVE answers to.

Obviously on the topic of high quality work, this guy's animations and new particles are TO DIE FOR! I kreygasmed real hard when I saw pictures on twitter so I'm in love with the dev work that produced these animations and particles! One thing to take from this is, why did Riot have such an amazing job done with the animations/particles but everyone seems to have their issues with the model? I personally think the coloring is too bright for the master of shadows who already has a white "contrast" skin (shockblade) to create an antithesis to his edgy and dark nature. I have issues with the skin's model but nevertheless, the devs who put this skin together did some great work and deserve to know, so thank you guys and girls ;)

And real quick, this is an example of how I envisioned Zed's coloration to be for the project skin before the release. For 's sake this ninja badass is a master of shadow, he delves in darkness, his lore and base skin say it all about how I view but maybe you guys feel differently?
