With some limitations of course. Of course, he wouldn't really be able to dig himself up so it could potentially make him less effective as a top lamer, idk.
I'm just throwing ideas out there, and this one popped into my head. It certainly fits his theme, and they're going to be reworking him anyways. In fact, it would be even better with this lengthy deathtimers. Any thoughts?
lI think it fits thematically but just doesn't feel good balance wise. It seems too strong sometimes and way too weak other times, but maybe he could spawn a ghoul of some kind when a nearby champion dies, friend or foe. That could make for a small buff to him in teamfights that gets stronger if multiple people are dying in a close range to each other. That probably has coding issues but is an interesting idea all the same.
