Loading Screen Chat

Hey guys, Silver Srcub here (don't play ranked a whole lot). Anyways I'll just get to it. i would like to see Riot add a chat feature while waiting for games to load up, especially in rank games. With the short starts now, random teams have a harder time to adjust before a match begins. sometimes lane swaps are beneficial for both players but it's now harder communicate early game as you generally want to set up for early game counter jungling, early invade and just have some good positioning or that deep ward.

I see a lot of times too that you will be faced with a complete off meta team and you don't really know who is going where until the load screen and then not only are you faced with the quick starts but the dangers of typing while in game. For example, if one team member is typing out a logical strategy he may not be in a good position to help if the enemy decides to invade and could potentially mean a forced flash, or even a death which gives first blood that he could have prevented if he was in the right position, or if he's typing in a good position but gets caught out as he is typing then that could tilt the game in un-favourable way.

This is also potentially another reason why you have very little communication in games because you have to sacrifice communication (which i might just add, that Riot really wants is for teams to communicate with one another. This is also why they took stealth wards away because they want teams to talk to each other about who takes what) but this i believe could help both sides plan a way better start.

things that could be discussed while waiting could be, can we lvl 1 invade? if so you may have to switch what you take first ability wise. For example thresh, normally i would start E for that extra early game damage but if i were going to invade i would start with my Q.

another thing is, you could plan early game ganks with your lanes. for example you could discuss with your top to allow their opponent to push a little and then have a lvl 3 gank to burn that flash or even grab a quick early first blood which said before could tilt the game in a un-forgiving way. especally since top is usually a 1v1 same as mid. (which is why tops usally crys when they give first blood to their opponent.. just blame the jungler, we lost game. it makes you feel better)

but it does't even have to be all about that either, you could discuss item builds with each other, like a support could talk to their adc what items to take, would you prefer coin or relic? Should we play safe until 6, should we push and dive lvl 2. jungler's can let their team know their jungle run, i'm going to farm till 6, or i'll gank lvl 3 (As said before)

I just find this would make not only League but Solo Que ranked or un-ranked a bit more organised and people would understand their team intentions a little better and not be salty sea lads. (okay that was a long shot) but you get my point.
