Approximately 11 months ago, a post was released called "11 Birds That Are Not Azir", and it showcased, well, 11 birds that weren't Azir. BUT. To quote article 7:
Gentleman Azir? Nope! That's a penguin. Penguins mate for life and seek out their one mate season after season. Azir can have up to three soldiers at his command at once, but he’s coded to have up to 99… because you never know.
As an average League of Legends consumer, I have a right to believe that the mere fact that riot mentioned "Gentleman Azir" clearly means that it is a guaranteed skin in the works, but alas! I have been deceived.
(Disclaimer: None of this actually makes sense, so don't look into it too much. I just want gentleman Azir, or pretty much any Azir skin.)
