Probably because out of 100+ champions, Diana's not necessarily on their list? I don't work at Riot, and I don't know the inner-workings of non-scheduled skins (like the Team Fire thing), so I think you'd need a red to answer that.

They can't just make a skin appear out of thin air man. They didn't know Diana was getting a skin till we did. Maybe they had a couple idea sketches but no chance they had fire and ice skins made and ready for all three champs, it'd be a waste of resources and unpractical.

Lol ok, here we go. We, the players, were able to vote between three champions for who was to get a new skin. Since we voted for the winner of the skin, the dev team could not have had any possible clue who was receiving the skin until we, the players, had finished voting. Therefore, because they had no possible way of know which champion was going to receive the skin nor whether fire or ice would win (the theme the skin will be based on), it is not surprising we are getting the skin after other skins that had already been in production. Not exactly sure how I lost you on this one, you seem to not understand the connection between the time it takes to create a skin and the date that they actually decide to start creating the skin.

Diana isn't getting a blood moon skin... first of all. I thought you were discussing why her all star skin wasn't immediately released once it was announced she was the winner. You see when you responded to the original comment, he was referencing the all star skin she was receiving, and I was trying to explain that it takes time to develop skins in response to your question on why the skin wasn't released right away. So to answer what I actually think is the question now, Diana isn't getting a blood moon skin any time soon if ever, therefore that is why 8 other skins have been released before hers. I also think it fits for her to get one thematically, but it might fit too well in riots eyes.

It's not enough.

She's only getting a skin because fans voted for her and the process is just now going into concept stage. They have been making Blood Moons for a bit now ... her getting a fire or ice themed skin cause fans recently voted for it shouldn't have anything to do with the loooong span of time their have had to think of something for her in the past 2 years.
