How to Fix Lucian

Ever since his creation like 3 years ago there has been a lot of work put into trying out a way to balance Lucian, I don't think he is OP, I just think other Carries are weak. But I think they should give him back his original Auto Attack range and his original ult range and just put a 5 second cool down on his Double shot passive. That'll stop him from firing 11 shots in 3 seconds at level 3.

It would. And it would change his most effective item build and you would have to manage your trading. They are struggling with him not having healthy design, I think that would be thing they should try, and see how it works.

Part of his skill and gameplay is trying to get as many double shots as possible.

He needs his current low range.

Its not balanced or fair to other carries that I can E double shot auto Q double auto W auto in the same amount of time the other carry can auto 4 times. that means at level 3 I get around 747 damage out and they can only deal back around 450. this means I for sure pop their heal and I probably pop their flash or they die. That is an easy combo. With the passive change I would only deal around 520 damage in a short fight or 650 in an extended fight. Still quite strong but its more in line with other Ad carries.

Your not taking into account that Lucian is a lane bully and ADC's have armor. I'm not sure if your math is correct, but I will assume so.

No ADC wants to let Lucian get his whole combo. Many adc's also outrange Lucian.

While I feel Lucian is a little too mobile (Currently he really has pro's but his only con is low range) I think this would shatter him or atleast his laning phase.

This nerf wouldn't be that bad if the cooldown was reduced by 1.25 seconds for every 20% critchance he has.

Ive played close to 800 games on Lucian since 2013 and I will say my favorite version of him was the 0 mana cost dash. But I think they should try messing with his passive more so than his range. Caitlyn and Draven are lane bullies like Lucian but on them its not a level 3 guaranteed flash, heal or first blood. but on lucian it is. I don't think he is over powered I just don't believe Riot has given other ADC champions the ability to deal with lucian
