Maonus(may-oh-noose)-(The Bogs Reclaimer)

Lore “Smells oh so ripe” -Twitch My mom always told me to be careful of the bog when I was growing up but know since I am a part of the Demacian legion I shouldn't fear anything. As we received Intel of a noxus scout group travailing through the bubbling bog we were dispatched to stop them. As we arrived all we could find was an abandoned camp weapons were dropped on the ground as if they were ready to fight and I can only have this feeling that something was watching us waiting. It was too late to return back to Demacia now we would have to camp out, latter that night I heard something move outside my tent that is when I heard it the gurgling I knew something was out there I had to go look, I alerted the others they were faster then me so they got out before me when they screamed then just silence and this smell just overwhelmed the area the smell of death and the swamp I looked outside to see the bog moving and glowing green eyes and a voice saying get out. I can never forget the screams or the smell oh that smell. The league heard of what happened and went to the Bubbling bog to offer him a deal that no one will enter his swamp again he agreed on a condition that he could expand his swamp out further the league agreed to this.

"New" Background Lore Having the same magical powers that were granted to Maokai,Maonus seeks to consume what he can to grow stronger until there is nothing left to stop him. He wants the Bog to grow bigger and consume Runeterra. Maonus is very protective about his land so travelers be wary going threw the Bubbling Bog he is short tempered so please do not pollute.

Abilities P-(Bogs Smell) .Maonus gains bonus affects being around jungle monsters, enemy minions, enemy champions, and friendly champions. Jungle monsters when they die heal him for a set amount plus % of bonus hp he gets. Minions take ap damage after casting a ability for a short while. Enemy champions get reduced healing, mana, and energy regen. Friendly allies give him additional health regen armour and magic resistance. New-Bogs Sludge(gains a bigger hitbox the more resistances he has 2% bigger every 90 Armour or magic resistance)

Q-(Sludge hammer) Maonus reaches behind him holding on to a log, charging his hit. When he releases his power he hits targets in a line with the log slowing them. He hits with such force targets around him are stunned and take extra damage.

W-(Natures drain) Maonus targets a enemy champion large minion(cannon/supper) or monster sapping armor, magic resistance and speed for a small duration and will be draining there life force(hp).

E-(Sludge)Maonus heaves a sludge ball into the air in a target location doing splash damage when landing it becomes unassailable terrain, champions that are hit take more damage and become a part of the terrain and are rooted. After a short while the glob spreads out becoming a slowing slime.

new description R-(Erosion)After a short while Maonus sinks into the ground becoming untargetable and shooting over to the target location. Maonus then explodes out of the ground in a ball with broken tree limbs launching slowing slime in random locations. People in the center get knocked up and back taking extra damage people out of the center take less damage and are knocked back.

Notes Maonus is meant to be played as a tank jungler first and as a top lane AP fighter second. In the jungle he has good sustain from his passive and his w but lacks any real gap closer until 6 while ganking a lane, suggest you should try throwing your e following up with w then a charged q to maximize your pre 6 strengths. If you are laning Maonus you are guaranteed to be pushing lane from casting ability's and passive this however requires hp to cast ability's making you vulnerable to be poked down. During a team fight YOU ARE the initiator and YOU ARE the front line you are meant to soak up as much damage for your team or to start a fight with your ult and diving right for the back line you are meant to cause as much chaos in there team as possible. Maonus ult can be stopped by unassailable terrain like Azir wall and trundle pillar he can still be stopped while casting his ult or while he is dashing to location such as movement displacement dots like fizz ult or Morgana root or stun.
