it seems like the lasers are doing less damage then intended. me personally am not afraid or the laser and to tower dive the super minions take longer to kill as well under the nexus but it looks like it dosent even ramp up in damage.
They don't do shit, but one thing to do do is shoot way the fuck out of the old tower range.
I seriously do not care about the inhibitor turret at all, even with just a few hundred bonus HP. That thing is a chump. I won't sit under it for no reason but the answer to "should I tank the turret so my team can dive?" is always "yes" unless you're a carry made of glass.
I agree with this, right now I am entirely unafraid to dive people under the inhib turret even though it is debuffing and damaging me. The damage seems almost negligible and the debuff only matters if they are fighting back (which if I am diving them is 99% not the case)
I feel like the damage should ramp up slightly faster and should not have any limits
They are pretty underwhelming
Towers are currently not ignoring the proper % of armor which is why they do not hit hard enoough right now. Its preseaon bug that will be taken care of I'm sure. I read they are supposed to ignore up to 70% of armor where right now they are ignoring only 30%.
Yeah, these towers are so shitty. I love the concept, but in reality that are aboslute shit. I saw a super minion tank both nexus turrets for a good 6 seconds before dying, allowing their team to push and win. Split pushing didn't get harder to do, if anything it's easier.
I think the season 4 turrets were better, I dont like the laser idea.
Its about as effective as just peeing on someone. It'll make them go away eventually, and maybe even die, but its a lot less effective than a laser should be.
