Higher Mstery Levels

Hi , just a random player here asking riot for something that would sound cool.

So far we can get to mastery level 7 and everyone knows that if you have that mastery emote you will spam it. Enough to the extent where you go to key bindings and set it for an easy to reach key . But will mastery stay at lvl 7? Is that good enough for those one trick pony's out there?

I think that riot has done a good job with the mastery system and that the idea of it is really nice (except how you cant get champion shards on TT) but for the next mastery for champions I think there should be special requirements. Anyone can get to a certain mastery lvl after playing the champion for 30 games or so but is that really mastery? Can you really tell the player apart from the mastery banners? All it says right now is that they have played it enough to know there abilitys and how to use them. This dosnt show real dedication to a champion does it?

I think that for the next few mastery lvls there should be hidden requirements for the champion. Like the secondary quests for Kha-Zix , Rengar , Ash , Sejuani and others. Like blackout achievements in other games this will make only the truly dedicated players of said champ to get the next lvl in mastery showing there dedication to the champion.

After its found out there will most likely be guides but to be the first person to get the hidden mastery level and whoever finds it on there own the sense of pride and accomplishment they will have for there champion will only make them love it more.

It will help them get to know the champions better , a good way to reboot some of the lore as well giving them hints of what they might need to do. For Garen you might have to kill every Noxus enemy with your ult after doing his special dialog taunt to them. Or for Elise geting VileMaw to last hit all the enemy champions feeding her deity.

It might take time to figure these out but it will give players something to think about other then how bad rank has been for them lately. So please hear this riot and just think about it.

I would not like hidden requirements like that. It only would cause problems when the word gets out. People would start focusing on trying to get those requirements instead of the game.
