" Reincarnation of a Hero " ( Valkyrie Slayer XinZhao skin Lore , part 3 of 3 )
" An Ailing Land "
Upon arriving in the village , there was a meeting with the Elder and after a long concerning talk , they executed for what seems to be their temporary strategem . In a span of 3 days , the 2 winged women now clad in full armor and swords , would visit the village in a Docile and curious manner , the inhabitants would pretend to worship them and would give offerings to the beings , they are pleased and came back everyday for more .
It was during this time where they made up names for these beings , " Valahek Meud " which means " Those that Take " , and " Randel Maidens " on the 4th day Theusus was conversing with his friend Flay while in hiding in his Work shop , I cant stand this anymore , our supplies are dwindling , the Land is weeping , do you not notice it ? That Parasitic 10 winged Being is definitely robbing the Land of Ionia with its Vitality and Magic.. the animals are dying , the Plants are rotting , ill go as far as saying that even the Elder willow itself is being shaken to its very core.. these things are a scourge and are evil in nature , I need to do something about this .
Flay was unresponsive , the usually cheerful demeanor he always had was replaced by despair and a burdened thought that he couldnt quite make peace with yet . Theusus speaks to him again , _ is this really the right time for you to be silent ? , if you arent gonna do something about this then im afraid i will ! , i have to find its weakness somehow.. what makes that thing tick.. _
Theusus storms out of the room and arms himself with his usual village hunting tools , then heads for the coastal region .
" _The Grand finale and the Rumblings of the future _ "
Theusus traversed the now stale and sapped looking coastal region , causing theusus to flinch at its sight , But he pressed on , making sure the Randel maidens wont notice him as much as possible , some did notice but eerily enough they didnt seem to care , At this point the place is swarming with Randel maidens , flying about everywhere and hovering around the 10 winged one , the 10 winged one noticed Theusus and met his gaze , as if realizing his Intent , It suddenly Let out a Malevolent and dread inducing Shriek , alerting and turning the Randel maidens almost instantly hostile .
It was in that moment that Theusus knew , that these things operate in Hive Mentality any form of threat will be eradicated , so he ran like he never ran before , towards the village as the now hostile Randel maidens chase after him .
_ * pant pant pant * They are coming !! ready your weapons !! Protect the Elder !! _ , said Thesus as he nears the village entrance , the frightened inhabitants tried their best to fend off these beings , Blood spilled everywhere , these things were Ravenous , slashing and piercing whoever stands in their path , instantly snuffing out their lives , their spears and Blades were inferior against the metal that consists the Maidens' Sword and armor , and their advantage of Flight .
During this time Flay has long noticed the commotion , he stares toward the rare fruit of the Elder willow in his palm, he secretly procured it 2 weeks before on his own , Before the Egg structure arrived , in which the white colored fruit usually has the effects of integrating with an object to make it stronger and give it its properties , but once in awhile a golden fruit would appear . and so , he had one last Theory to Execute with a Leap of faith .
Taking into account the elder willow's mystical and spiritual nature , He concludes that if he made an Armor and a weapon out of it he had to provide a Soul for it to absorb . The armor and spear was already forged beforehand but alas the contemplated Final step has to be done , as a Weeping Flay offered Theusus a short heart felt poem .
__" Witness No more , For the Echoes of Mourn will envelop your core , The Emancipating Spear will Touch the Floor , Thy Golden Armor will Gleam and Roar " __ as He pierced himself with the Spear , The spear and Armor completely absorbs him including his essence and physical body , as if it understands and pay homage to his Selfless Feat .
Theusus now losing the battle with the valkyries and can no longer keep up , He stormed towards Flay's Workshop only to discover it is now empty , but whats left is an intricate golden Armor and Spear on the Floor , noticing the valkyries darting towards him , he shut the workshop door tight , giving him enough time to equip the armor and wield the spear . _Strange.. this armor has a soothing feeling to it , it feels so light but strong ? _ .
Accepting his impending Fate Theusus opens the Workshop doors and prepares his stance for one last stand . The Ravenous and screeching Valkyries start swinging and thrashing at him , the blows were violent and strong , but for some reason he can withstand the damage , his armor did not break like how the villagers met their end , He retaliates with the spear , effectively Piercing one of the attacking Valkyrie , with all his pent up killing intent and Hatred , _ mmmmRaagh ! _ , Further piercing and finally killing the valkyrie , then one after another they fall , with the spear and armor seemingly absorbing the essence of the valkyries , Causing the Spear and Armor to gleam and reverberate in a Golden hued Aura more and more as it imbues its wearer with Valkyric properties .
Theusus noticed these changes and realize he was good at it and can easily manipulate and use the power , its as if it comes so natural and just falls in place . Before long the whole village was filled with heaps of dead valkyries , and whats left is a now a Winged golden armored warrior wielding an Intricate spear in the air , It momentarily pauses and gazed over the village before Flying towards the direction of Ionia's Coastal Region .
Theusus now Darting easily in the skies , swiftly enters the fray , the valkyries quickly noticing and storms towards him , Theusus pauses and Focuses power on his palm , releasing it towards the approaching valkyries , Showering them with a barrage of Celestial Energy , the battle raged on but Theusus starts to falter and he was enormously Outnumbered , With his Final breath he channels Enormous quantities of Celestial powers that his armor and spear has acquired , Executing a final dive bomb while pointing his spear downwards , as he descends from the skies towards the 10 winged being , it retracts its cocoon like lower body state and avoids the dive bomb , Theusus Ends up Plunging his spear towards the Ground , causing a massive wave of Yellow Explosion , Tearing a massive space in Reality , Sucking every single remaining valkyries inside including the 10 winged Being and a Big Chunk of Land along with it , Sending them into a different Realm .
As the Portal closes , whats Left is a Wingless Golden Armor kneeling , with the spear still stuck in the ground . The villagers Took the Helm off , revealing a now lifeless Theusus with a gentle smile in his face .
Years went by and Ionia recovered , Life went back to its usual state , the Villagers in Honor of Theusus the Ionians slowly but surely built ancient Temples for him around runaterra and made Murals of him in its walls ( Appearance : [ https://gyazo.com/2ff514225e154b0d78cc6cc7e729a671 ] , just imagine Theusus in the upper part of the mural doing a Plunging spear towards the 10 winged Valkyrie Below , and a swarm of 2 winged valkyries in the middle ) .
Annually , the ionians from randel village would Celebrate and Feast In honor of Theusus , 2 nights of celebration and 3 weeks of Pilrimage towards one of the temples they build around runaterra . Placing his golden Armor , spear , and Helmet in its Altar everytime they visit one of its many temples in a scheduled manner and would pause for awhile , thinking good thoughts of him and reminisce their fond memories of him during his Life in Randel .
now in the present day , XinZhao in Light Civilian garments , snuck out of demacia during midnight and eventually arrived in one of Theusus' Ruined Temples by the Cliffs of Needle Brook , traversing its ancient dilapidated halls , old columns , and stairs he came across an Altar with the golden Armor , Helm and Spear sitting on top of it , XinZhao now feeling cold and on the verge of shivering he remembers Joag's words and Wore the Full set of the Intricate armor , I prefer not to wear a Helm but ill make an exception , it is surprisingly Intricate.
Due to the Test of time , the armor would sometimes wane . The armor reverberates and Gleams , Surprising XinZhao but he eventually regained control of the situation , he felt a strange soothing peace and felt like he was as light as a feather , as a rip in reality opens up in front of him , revealing a barren Ionian patch of Land in a different Realm . His pupils Constrict at the sight of what greeted him , Hundreds of Valkyries and a 10 winged one in the Far middle , integrated in the Ground as it starts to Shriek after noticing him , XinZhao Lunges towards them , As History Repeats itself .

" Final Notes and Trivia " :
Flay has red hair
_Theusus has lush Black hair , it is straight and reaches shoulder length . _
_The ionians discovered Theusus' hair color turned gleaming silver when they took his helm off . _
_ The valkyries were from another realm and not much is known about them , except they act as Hive mentality and are Parasitic in nature . _
There are 6 Theusus Temples built in total , 2 in Ionia , 1 in the lands of Demacia , 2 in the land Shurima and 1 in the Heart of Kumungu Jungle .
_ Theusus Died without knowing the whereabouts of Flay . _
_ The 10 winged valkyrie's origin was never fully explained but whenever it invades a realm it envelopes itself in an Egg like structure. _
_ Joag Light Sear's Grandfather was a friend of an Ionian from Randel village , Granting Joag the knowledge and Legends of what transpired before , via Bed time stories. _
_Joag Once lead his Demacian Assault team inside the Needlebrook Ruined temple where Theusus' armor and spear lie _
_ Due to the Armor and Spear waning powers , it struggles to keep the Realm where the valkyries were sealed closed , and would produce a momentary leak sometimes , letting 1 , 2 or 3 valkyries slip past its influence in the process _
Joag defeated 3 Valkyries , completely eradicating his Assault team in the process and him barely surviving
_Joag is a coward and left the armor , Helm and its spear alone despite being tempted to wear it and take the power for himself _
_XinZhao and Theusus has 1 thing in common , they are fated into a seemingly impossible battle while being outnumbered , making XinZhao somewhat a Reincarnation of Theusus _
whoa , that was quite the long read guys , hahah if you've reached this far , i appreciate it :D just a random question though , do some of you feel or think its a good idea for me to turn Theusus into a League champ concept ? or perhaps maybe Flay ? ( or Joag , troll wise hahah ) if so , let me know sometime ^^ , anyways we're not done just yet , ill explain the valkyrie slayer skin effects and particles shortly .

Determination ( innate / passive ) : everytime this activates and heals xinzhao , it shows a particle effect where a spiritual essence of an enemy gets sucked into XinZhao's spear
Three Talon Strike ( Q ) : while active , XinZhao's golden spear Gleams
Wind Becomes Lightning ( W ) : the slash and Thrust has pulsating golden after image effect and gains a vibrating metal sound effect
Audacious charge ( E ) : during the split second dash animation , XinZhao summons and beats a pair of wings along with the dash creating a booming golden shockwave like animation with the same sound effects as this ( or atleast similar to it ) [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpreCGLkNkc&feature=youtu.be ] and for the remaining 5 second attack speed boost from this skill XinZhao retains his winged state .
Crescent Guard ( R ) : when activated , XinZhao crescent sweeps like how he usually does , making his whole character avatar pulsate in gold hue for as long as the duration holds
