An idea for a new Ashe Passive

Instead of the critical passive that she currently has, how about we change that passive to something that can synchronize with her Q?

Now some of you may be saying "But isn't perma slow enough?" Not in this Meta.

Tenacity, gap closers, stuns, etc can all put Ashe in danger despite of her perma slow. Does that mean make her 100% safe? Course not.

What I'm proposing that with every maybe around 5-10 auto hits with Q on the same target. Kinda like Vayne's Silver Bolts where if the target is changed, it will remove the passive or if the individual is not attacked for 1 second.

I haven't really come up with a name for it, but we'll call it Freeze for now.

Freeze After 10 basic attacks (we'll say 10 for now) the target is rooted for 1.5 seconds.

This will not only give Ashe a compliment to being a ice-based archer, but it will also grant her further survivability since she has no escape and slows are now mediocre in this meta (let's not compare her to Nasus who can survive an assassin, unlike Ashe.). And it isn't OP, considering that if a second passes, the passive is removed, so if she is stunned or peeled it will not grant Ashe constant CC that some people may fear.

And if you look here:

You'll see this also compliments Ashe's great attack speed as well.

This is just an idea though, let me know what you think of it.

I'm not entirely sure that Ashe needs more CC to be competitive in League today. By competitive I don't mean a competitive pick, just a more attractive pick in general. Personally, I feel that Ashe would benefit more from a pseudo-critical strike mechanic (we'll leave the name as Focus for now).

Ashe's current passive has her building up to a regular critical strike over time. Many argue this is counter intuitive to the marksman optimal pattern and that the passive is fairly negligible late game. I think your approach of encouraging Ashe to concentrate attacks on a particular target is good and will be the basis of this renewed 'Focus' mechanic.

For example, Ashe gains +10/15/20% increased damage for each subsequent basic attack on the same target. This effect stacks up to 10 times and damage amplification is applied before critical strikes.

This 'Focus' passive would essentially create a niche for Ashe late game where she would be the only marksman capable of a 400% damage critical strike at 10 stacks (we'll exclude Infinity Edge for now). It arguably also fits her VO theme of precision since each strike is deadlier than the previous one.

I think this would make Ashe a much more attractive pick overall since she would be able to fill a similar space to Tristana/Kog'maw as late-game threats with her own unique strengths.

Her passive is already really strong when used correctly. You know how people put that 1% crit chance into their builds because it COULD change the lane drastically? Ashe gets that, but even more consistently. It also makes statik shiv stronger on her, because your first shot with shiv will ALWAYS crit with focus up.

umm so your saying to make the perma slow champ auto the same person 10 times which in hte late game an adc will do in like 7 seconds and then they are stuck in the same place for 1 .5 seconds which most champions wont even survive 12 shots
