The Sand Worm
A Shuriman zone control mage who focuses on controlling a certain zone for an extended time.
Passive: Legacy of the Sands: Each time an enemy champion is damaged while inside a Shuriman Sands area, the Sand Worm gains one stack of Legacy. After reaching certain amounts of these stacks the Sand Worm's abilities are enhanced. 50: Toxic Spit covers a larger area with poison for a longer duration. 100: A fourth sand worm is added to the Shuriman Sands. 150: Burrow's cast range is increased while outside of Shuriman Sands. 200: Quicksand will stun instead of snare when it is cast inside Shuriman Sands.
Q: Toxic Spit: Spits a poison shot in a line. Upon impact or reaching the end of its range, it explodes into a gas cloud. Enemies take magic damage upon impact, per second while inside the cloud, and half that damage per second for two seconds afterwards.
Impact Damage: 60/80/100/120/140+0.4AP Cloud Damage: 40/50/60/70/80+0.2AP Posion Cloud Duration: 3 seconds (+2 from Legacy Bonus) Range: 550 units AoE: 150 units (+75 from Legacy bonus) Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6
W: Shuriman Sands: Turns an area into a dessert. Three small sand worms will move around the area, attacking and slowing enemies. While inside the area, Tunnel has a reduced cooldown and heals when used. This abilities cooldown is reduced by one second each time an enemy champion is damaged by Toxic Spit.
Sand Worm Damage: 60/70/80/90/100+0.3AP (If an additional worm begins attacking a target already being attacked, its damage will be reduced by 50%) Duration: 6 seconds AoE: 700 units in all directions from the Sand Worm Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14
E: Burrow: Dig under ground, becoming untargetable. After one second, reappear at surface. If a location is selected, reappear there and knock up surrounding enemies.
Knockup Damage: 120/140/160/180/200+0.6AP Heal: 90/110/130/150/170 Range: 200 units (+150 units when cast outside of Shuriman Sands) Knockup Duration: 1.25 Seconds Knockup AoE: 50 units Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds (Reduced by 4 seconds when used inside Shuriman Sands)
R: Quicksand: Creates a puddle of quicksand in a medium area, slowing enemies by a massive amount. If they remain within the area for one second they will be rooted and suffer magic damage over the root duration. The cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds when a sand worm hits an enemy champion.

Personality: The Sand Worm is a Shuriman creature. He is fully capable of speaking in English (or whatever language other champions speak in). His personality shifts as he builds more stacks of Shuriman Legacy. At the game's start, he is very kind and almost shy. However, as he continues to gain stacks, he becomes more angry and vengeful. After reaching his stack limit, the Sand Worm begins to show hatred towards others, particularly Shuriman champions.
Lore/Background: The Sand Worm is part of a race who fill the Shuriman deserts. In Shuriman culture they are believed to control the shifting of the sands and are also given credit for the countless lives taken by the harsh environment. The Sand Worm is directly responsible for the quicksand which nearly killed Azir. Because of this, he indirectly caused the Ritual of Ascension to occur, and therefore caused the destruction of the Shuriman Empire. Some of the Sand Worm's race is afflicted by a strange mental state which leaves them subject to some outside will. The afflicted creature is almost entirely consumed by the outside will. This strange affliction is what caused the Sand Worm to attempt to kill Azir, but the being directing these actions remains unknown.
