Congratulations to everyone who participated! The December-January CCOS is over, and we have the results at long last!

Serpexnessie, thank you so much for your help. Couldn't have done this without you.

The winner of the December-January CCOS is...

...sigh. Cecilia and Ailia, the Sky Cavalry, by Raxistaicho, with an average score of 48.25/60. You are literally the New England Patriots of the CCOS. plz. (Congratulations anyways though, just watch out for archers!)

Second place goes to Reun and Koi'Rat, the Icathian Hunters, by Timperman, with an average score of 44.25/60! Who's a good void concept? You are! Yes you are!

Third place is Nagru, the Perfected Form, by showcase25, with an average score of 43.5/60! 5th edition D&D has clearly served you well.

Our fourth place winner is Torquemada, the Daylight's Curtain, by Arakadia, with an average score of 37/60! No heresy to be found here!

Fifth place is a tie! Zan, the Tainted Masterpiece, by K1B0, and Iblion, the Fallen One, by Lil homie busta, tied with an average score of 36.5/60! That is a really terrifying pair!

You can find our scoresheets here: Echoing Serpexnessie

Bad scores doesn't mean you're bad, nor does it mean we hate you! If we didn't have bad scores, we'd have no way to communicate to you what needs improvement, and if we didn't think you could improve, we wouldn't even bother with the scores in the first place. Keep at it no matter what!

Hit us up on the C&C Discord or this thread if you have any questions, and I'll see you later this week for the February CCOS!

Good job to all participants! Don’t get discouraged if you get a bad score, I recommend you to learn from the experience, and keep at it!

Congrats to the winners! Guess I'll have to come up for something better for the next one.

Third place is Nagru, the Perfected Form, by showcase25, with an average score of 43.5/60! 5th edition D&D has clearly served you well.

Its a great inspiration. The fun part was remixing it (furry of blows) and adding completely new mechanics from the influence (the Ki shield Passive for example).

Good to see somebody can see the inspiration.

Also two notes:

  1. shout out to whoever redesigned the judges scoresheets. Its cleaner, clearer, and frankly prettier

  2. Personally, my score was fairly judged and i got the criticism where i expected to get a raised eyebow in certain aspects of my design. All in all, just saying good job to the judges.

question: has there ever been a perfect score in the history of the CCOS

24.5/60? Ah well, I guess. I do have two other concepts I can submit for the next CCOS contests, and (hopefully) more on the way, so...I just need improvement. And it kinda was my first ever concept...so...yeah February is gonna be Soluna's time to shine, hopefully I'll have the quotes finished before I have to submit her.

Well done to all participants. I hope to have some time in the coming months to participate once again in these competitions myself.

Well, certainly not the worst grade I've ever gotten :P

Although I didn't appreciate my backstory being called "edgy", when it's literally him getting ice shards shoved out of his body. It's not Zoe. That doesn't help me improve. There's a difference between fluffy sugar and darker themes.

I'm admittedly confused on how people didn't understand his ult that much, but I guess that just means I need to work on my fluidity more, so I'll probably redesign Daphne a bit more before I put her in for next CCOS :P

Thanks to the judges who (voted?) judged for this, and well done for all the participants :)

First place really deserved it, gj.

Thanks Echoing!

Very honored to win second place even though I never got around to fix some of the balancing issues on my character, means that I had a wicked concept worth fine-tuning if anything.

Also holy fuck the winner deserved this one!
