Passive (It´s my stuff now!): If Maret isn´t in sight of enemies (bush or invisible) and his target doesn´t look in his direction, then he steals (autoattack range) either 10/20/30 gold at level 1/3/6 or one potion (prefers to steal the potion) instead of autoattacking. Stealing something has a channel time of 2 seconds and with another autoattack command he cancel the passive and autoattacks instead.

Stealing gold sets the passive on a 15 seconds long cooldown and stealing a potion sets the passive on a 1 minute long cooldown. He can steal one potion not until 2 minutes after the game started.

Enemies can get their gold/potion back by autoattacking 3x for gold and 5x for potions. The attacks need to be done within 5/4.5/4 seconds at level 1/3/6. The gold lies in a bag on the ground and the potion as a phial. The collector gets the stuff (everyone in the match can be collector) by going over it (Maret needs to wait 3 seconds before he can collect it). The stolen stuff has a timer of 30 seconds. The stuff can´t fall down after the time is over (the stuff can fall down by the collector as well as long as the time isn´t over; except the original owner collected it, then the stuff is save).

Q (Sneaky): Maret gets invisible/camouflaged after 4 seconds. If enemies don´t look in his direction he is invisible, if they do so he is camouflaged. Enemies within 450 units see him, if he is camouflaged. He also gains 5/10/15/20/25 movement speed and his next autoattack deals x% of the target current health (scales with bonus ad) as physical damage. Has a duration of 5/5.75/6.5/7.25/8 seconds.

Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds Cost: 45/55/65/75/85 mana

W (Hold Still!): Maret ties his target. The target is disarmed for 1 second, silenced for 1 second and slowed for 4 seconds. Maret needs to be within 150 units range to cast the ability and hold it. It has a 1.5 seconds long animation time in which Maret can move (but needs to stay in range).

Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds Cost: 50/57.5/65/72.5/80 mana

E (Self Defense!): Maret stabs the target with his dagger. He causes a grievous wound, deals x physical damage (scales with bonus ad) and leaves a stack on the target. A second stack causes the target to bleed for 4 seconds which deals x magic damage (scales with bonus ad). If Maret uses "Self Defense!" on a target with 2 stacks the ability deals either (which damage value would be bigger) x% of the targets missing health as physical damage (scales with bonus ad) or x physical damage (scales with total ad).

Stacks have a duration of 6 seconds and leaving a stack refreshes the timer. The stacks get lost after using the ability on a target with 2 stacks.

Cooldown: 5/4.75/4.5/4.25/4 seconds (not affected by cooldown reduction) Cost: 20/25/30/35/40 mana

R (Come With Me!): Maret targets an enemy champion and then a location. He swings his cloak forward (the area of effect is a cone in front of him; animation time is 2 seconds long). If the target is under his cloak after the animation, then they both get teleported to the targeted location. If the target isn´t under the cloak, then he teleports only himself to the location. He can teleport to a location within 1000 units range. Both targets are marked on the minimap through a red cross.

Cooldown: 145/100/75 seconds Cost: 100 mana

Stats:

Health Points: 600 (+97 per level) Mana: 200 (+40 per level) Attack Damage: 62 (+2.22 per level) Attack Speed: 0.701 (+3% per level) Armor: 28 (+4 per level) Magic Resistance: 33.5 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed: 335 Attack Range: 125

I like his stealing mechanic, but to be honest, he has one strong tool to defend it if it drops: His W. Even with just one tool, his W tether seems very reliable considering how it only has a 1.5 second channel time, same as Leblanc's chain, but completely disallows them from attacking or using skills for 1.5 seconds and slows them for 5 seconds ( about half of the ability's cooldown ). Not to mention, this is a targeted ability (I'm assuming it doesn't work like Leblanc's chain). Even then, Karma's targeted tether is 2 seconds long and roots for like 1.5 second or more, but that somewhat long cc duration is because their kit is a support.

I suggest you either revise his w so it's more of an offensive ability or increase the cooldown on that. His W is a very strong crowd control ability for an assassin. Rito doesn't particularly like silence ( and more or less disarm ) because of the 0 counterplay once you get caught. I have some ideas for his W. You could keep its current cooldown, add range, but remove the current CC in favor of something like a reverse Kled Q ...

W (Hold Still!): Maret lassos the target with a bundle of rope, creating a tether between them for 1.75 seconds. At the end of the duration, if the tether is still intact, Maret pulls himself to the target (till he's near basic attack range) and gains X% movement speed for 4 seconds.

He can use this in two three ways: swiftly enter fights via lassoing a target ally, close in on an enemy by choosing an enemy as a target, or escaping after a fight by using it on an ally. This revised ability synergizes with the rest of his kit very well. Start with Q, follow up with W, basic attack, and leave with the bonus movement speed he gets, or he can use it on an enemy with two W stacks, so he can get that %missing hp damage execution. Adding the ability to use it over walls is great too but might be too strong.

To compensate for this revised ability, maybe he should get lower base movement speed ( like 5 - 15 less ), so he has slightly lower mobility while it's on CD. Also, numbers are tentative so the tether duration here can change. Same with the bonus movement speed duration.

I think that's all I got, other than his E not being about "Self-Defense" at all. Maybe change the ability name which is easy to fix, lol.

Thanks for reading my long opinion! I hope you consider it. I went thorough about his W because I want it to flow well for his kit and theme. I really like this idea of a thief champion :). Here's to hoping he's a good thief champion. /\
