He looks a bit too similar to Maokai in my opinion,though I guess he is actually more inspired by the mythological Leshy/lesovik(who are male spirits that protect the forest and are partially made of plants).
Huh... I wonder if he's able to make bushes based on what we just saw?

I really think that he would be a utility Jungler, like, with pratically no damage, just good CC or good ways to hide/ run from the ennemies.

Well the tease happening only in the jungle clearly points at a new jungler.
We didn't see any new AP jungler since a while (ekko doesn't count, he was meant for midlane)
Kindred clearly proves they want to find new mechanics and tricks for Junglers... I call Support-Jungler with new mechanic, just like they managed to put a REAL adc (and not melee-ADC) in the jungle.
''Making bush'' is a skill that comes from Caitlyn original concept, glad they finally made it in game.
Last but not least, part of his left arm (our right) is human, I expect a druid that fused with nature unlike maokai who is a creation due to magic experiments.

When I first heard his voice I expected him to be some kind of nature mage. An AP jungler who was somewhat tied to Ryze's new rework.

I think his W will be making a small bush, so basically a worse Akali W, but Allies can use it too
Agree with most on the support/jungler look of the champion. Think he would fit as a cc-machine and protector on the rift who would make a good top laner and jungler, occasionally a support. This is my predicted kit for Ivern judging by the brief preview...
Q- Slams the ground causing all enemy units in path to get knocked up and briefly slowed W- teleports to target and roots it in place E- sends a mini minion/sentry-like unit to a target location, exploding when enemy champions walk nearby and slowing them R- Ivern protects all friendly units around him by reducing their damage taken by a small percentage.

I just thought about this a bit more. What if this new champ has the ability to lower the respawn timers of jungle camps (Minus drag/baron)? That would essentially be bringing life back to the monsters.. fitting his theme?
