Annora-The Lost Voice

I thought a really cool champion concept would be using the female narrator on Summoner's Rift (or any map for that matter) and turning her into a champion. I feel like she should be very versatile and super kick butt. I think it'd be cool to have her as a support or mid champion.

I thought for lore it could deal with how the Summoners invited her to League of Legends where they took her voice to use to fill the quietness (they believed she had the most beautiful voice--if you want me to make a detailed lore, up vote this or comment!).

Abilities: Passive: Deafening Shriek: Whenever an ally dies within a certain range of Annora (or if she dies herself-- also works with a clone like shacos, leblancs or wukongs in order to promote team composition synergy ) she emits a loud shriek in the grief of the moment - providing a small shield to allies to protect them and causing all nearby enemies to be silenced for like .5 seconds and slowed by 15% for 1 second. Each death near Annora causes the passive to become more potent, and after 3 deaths silences for 1.5 seconds and stuns for 1.5 seconds instead of slowing while increasing the size of the shield to allies. Q: Natural Element: Annora creates a mass of crystals that goes in a zig-zag pattern dealing so and so damage and expands and collapses at the end of it's path slowing nearby enemies by 5% and dealing so and so damage(slow could scale with level) W: Vow of Silence: Annora casts a shield around her body increasing armor and magic resist. When attacked, the enemy becomes silenced. E: Crystal Rupture: Passive: Annora gains a gem every 90 seconds which give her an additional 2% movement speed with each crystal surrounding her. Up to 3 crystals. Active: Crystals shoot out one at a time (can be used up to 3 times before cooldown [3 crystals=3 casts, 1 crystal=1 cast]) and shatter around an enemy dealing so and so damage. R: A Quiet Dance: When casted, Annora sings an enchanting song that stuns and damages enemies within so and so distance and attracts the other enemies on the map for 0.5 seconds (Cause her voice can only be heard through narration so everyone in the game would hear it, so making it have a small effect on the rest of the map as a sort of distortion).

(REMEMBER: I'm not a pro concept creator and I definitely welcome awesome ideas)

Taunts and jokes resonate throughout the entire rift. Give her an annoying laugh to make her worse than TeemoTeemo . (Her voice is the narration voice, that's what the champion is based around.)

Feels very Jannaish. Focus more on sound and the goal of the champ. What do they offer that other champs don't? Then build a kit around that.

Okay! Thank you! I want it to deal with a wind aspect because it's a voice thing, but I don't really know what would be a good idea.

The issue with using wind is that we have that janna skin which is a weather forecaster. A good fist step is to think less about the abilities/how they are represented and why someone would pick her over another champ? Then make a list of things that can fit that goal. Figure out how to make these abilities and how they would work together. Those are the steps to building a strong champion kit.

I do love the idea though.

I changed it to crystals instead. Maybe making it so she can be more of a "goddess" figure. Like an Ionian champ (except the floating back piece being made of crystal)

I like that, esp since Taric got moved away from natural gems during his rework so they don't feel very conflicting. Still feel as though the only reason to pick this champ is for global pressure. If you stick the ult on a shortish cd (100/75/50 sec) and have the q be good waveclear then I feel as though it could work. (Also update the name of the q, doesn't work anymore) the stealth does feel out of place though.

Yes, I love that! I changed her E to be a damage dealing ability instead. I tried to incorporate it into the passive (which I had forgotten and just made), making it the only thing that makes the passive useful for something other than slight movement speed.

It's not too bad, it does seem very Janna-like but when it comes to context about the champion concept and not her ideas. It seems very cool. But while she is in game, how will she announce and play? or will she just announce the things while she is in the game? What if she dies? If the enemy gets a pentakill... will it announce it if she's dead? Tiny things like these are something to think about. Her kit is alright, definitely a support type of champion. I get the idea around the silence, but she will have quite the overloaded kit with all that CC. I can just imagine building her full tank and being super obnoxious on her. I mean like I said before, really neat concept. Cool idea to come up with.. I do think though that she will have 100 pick/ban just because of the fact she can spam emotes across the whole rift.. lol. I like the idea. Just tweak it a bit.

Technically it wouldn't all be just her announcing, if you read the lore, the summoners took her voice, so when she uses taunts or laughs and it echoes through the rift, it would be her trying to gain control of her voice again, but then the summoners keep a hold on it

Her ult is pretty interesting. If your lore is based on how she was invited to the League of Legends maybe a lullaby would fit better than a howl for her ult. Like when she ults she will attract those around her similar to how ahri's charm works for about ? seconds in a ? range and apply a slow to those out of range that decays over time.

Lore- Annora could be Ionian myth goddess, that was legend to be able to speak with such elegance that warriors, people, and knights would fall in love with her. By the time she was just turning of age to become the heir to her family name, summoners of valoran called upon her. The summoners explained to her that they were working on governmental plans between the nations to settle their disputes in a sort of game. The called it the "Leaguge of Legends", but they didn't want their champions in there afraid. So they asked if she could announce for them. She agreed, making her even more loved from the Ionians. Though after a year of announcing and making the champions chosen for this "game calm" she wanted to resign to go and have a family and a life, but the summoners refused to let her go. Form there on she was forced against her will to speak anything but what was to be announced. Day after day she cried slowly crumbling her voice. Then finally on a wretched day, after hearing about an attack on Ionia from Noxus she finally stood up for herself and and tried to flee the summoners. They stopped her, though, but she fought. At the moment of them capturing she was filled with divine energy of her ancestors, and her voice came back in full. This made her into a divine spirit that was worshipped by Ionians, and was believed to be the reason they won the battle against Noxus. That her voice was their guide, but how?How was her voice still in the game. As she was sent to the heavens. the mightiest summoners gathered in a circle of five, and reached out stealing her newly, reborn voice, and trapping it into the summoners rift.

[slayer-pantheon-thumbs] Very creative and different from what we usually see in other champs. I love the idea. Hopefully this board gets noticed more and can be seen by Riot! I would love to see this on the rift.

The ult would be a little OP as it is right now. Charming the entire enemy team globally? I could easily see Annora ulting and her team immediately getting 4 kills (because the top and mid laner took the full combo of the enemy laner during the charm because they couldn't dodge, and it set up an easy 2 v 2 bot). Way too much global power.

I definitely see what you're saying, but it would be kind of like a Fidds fear on level 1 where it only lasts like 0.5 seconds just to get them to move a little. It's just to have a small effect on the entire map because that's her voice range.

But even .5 seconds is a huge deal in mid lane as it's often 2 glass cannon champions (burst mage or assasin's) who can burst really hard in half a second or land a stun. Imagine laning against a morgana mid. Getting charmed (which is unavoidable) would result in getting hit by a Morg Q (if she's in voice chat with the Annora) followed by her entire combo since you'd never have an opportunity to move unless you have cleanse or QSS.

You could make it balanced by having her sing globally and then charm the enemies at the end of the song (so like a 4 or 5 second delay so people could potentially back off to a safe position in other lanes). She could still punish people who are in a duel or are overextended globally, and you could have the local stun start earlier in the song so she is more useful at close range.

She reminds me of Sona. I would love for her to not be a support. If her abilities were more aggressive than passive I think it'd make more sense. Maybe a tanky assassin? I love the idea of her being the voice of summoner's rift. Remember lots of people don't play, or can't, play with sound. Everything in LoL has a visual cue. I just wanted to throw that out there. I'd love her attacks to be more direct. There seem to be a lot of things about stacking. Instead of stacking defenses you could change it to stack with damage? If they took her voice then how does she have it now? Took makes her sound mute. Maybe forced her? Maybe she likes to play tricks with her voice in spite? That would explain the use of her voice to confuse the enemy and her passive. If her Q is the only damage what's really the point of Q? Does it slow? If she is a support with this ability lineup she'll need to have abilities that let her perform without damage. I'd love to see her focused in a different lane than support since she is set up so much like other supports. Just thoughts...
