Champion Concept - Carytid
**This is an idea that I want to flesh out. I don't know a lot about how RIOT balances champion abilities, so any suggestions for how to make it balanced but still fun are welcome. The idea is that one of the columns from Ionia (possibly Demacia) has gained sentience and has taken it's job of guarding the lives of those around it to the next level. I initially really was stuck on the idea of her ultimate, as you can tell its much different than anything in game so far except maybe lissandra. I liked the idea of a turret that could move around the battlefield as necessary. I vetoed an idea for her to do something more like Azir's passive because it isn't as useful and is very very situational. This means that the rest of the abilities were kind of slowly added based on what came to mind for a living statue to have. **
Passive: Guardians Frenzy Carytid deals increasingly more damage against single opponents. Basic Attacking champions or minions causes them to gain a stack of Frenzy. Each stack of frenzy causes her basic attacks to deal 15% more damage, maxing out at 4 stacks. If Carytid basic attacks a different target, all stacks are removed from other targets. Champions who move more than 1000 units from Carytid have their stacks of Frenzy removed.
**Q: Guardian's Strike: ** Cooldown (8/7/6/5/4 sec) Mana: 20 mana Carytid swings her sword with powerful might, dealing (30/40/50/60/70) + (100% AD) physical damage. If the target of her attack has 4 stacks of frenzy they are slowed by 30% for 1.5 seconds. Guardians Strike applies all on hit affects.

Passive: Carytid gain 2/4/6/8/10% bonus Armor
Active: Carytid loses the passive bonus to armor to prevent the closest enemy turret for attacking for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds.
E: Stone Roots Cooldown (10/9/8/7/6 sec) Mana (50/60/70/80/90) After a brief delay (.5 seconds) Carytid sends out a pulse of power along the ground. Enemy champions within the area (750 unit) are rooted for (1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0 seconds) by stone boots that grab their legs. Champions with max stacks of frenzy are instead encased in stone for the same period and take (10/20/30/40/50) + (50% AD) physical damage from the attack. White encased they are untargetable and invulnerable to all other damage.
**R: Form of the Column: ** _ Cooldown (60/55/50) Mana (100/150/200)_ Carytid becomes rooted and cannot be moved by any means during the duration. While Rooted her basic attack gain ??? range and her attack speed becomes 1/sec. She gains 100 bonus armor and magic resist. Enemy champions who enter her attack range are subject to basic attacks as if she were a turret. Her basic attacks deal 50/100/150/200/250/300% bonus damage if they hit the same champion. Her passive is disabled in this form. Only one champion can be targeted at a time. The target is chosen automatically when the champion enters the range, but can be changed by Carytid by targeting that champion. While in this form Carytid cannot use any of her other abilities and is subject to bonuses versus turrets and item abilities that prevent turrets from firing. Carytid can end this ability by activing it again. Otherwise it ends after the duration has lapsed.
