A Re-introduction to Improvisation Jax [Skin]

Imagine if he had a real weapon. Or a different fake one

To properly discuss this idea, we'll have to tell a story. Let me bring you back in time, to the wild west of early League of Legends. Before the time of no established meta (apart from Philosopher Stone Ashe mid), before the time of Guardsmen Bob's Ionia vs. Noxus 1v5 Udyr carry (and subsequent nerf and removal of Innervating Locket), before Shen Akali Kennen even existed.

Warning: This post may definitely contains retconned lore

Jax is the original improv master. This is not common knowledge, but well documented in the history of League of Legends. It is in these forgotten documents that I shall build my case.

As some of the older players might remember, Jax was released in a completely broken state. The Institute of War didn't even bother to check to see if he was balanced coming into League. We know this is true, because instead of a proper period of time spend in the hall of reflection, Jax walked right on through without pausing for a second. There were no checks or balances there. He was more OP than release XinZhao , release Leblanc , and beta TwistedFate . With a 100% winrate through several score games (To this day, a record in League of Legends), the Institute of War quickly realized they needed to nerf Jax. Like, hotfix nerf.

So they did.

Upset over the nerfs, Jax decided to troll his teammates.

Instead of buying real items from the store, Jax decided to pick up a lamp post as a starting item. Seriously, who the hell buys lamp post first? item 1036 , item 1055 , item 1001 , hell even item 1052 first is a better buy than lamp post.

Not content with just that, Jax proceeded to stack Pink Doubleswords* and run it down mid.

None of this mattered, because Jax continued to win regardless. Part of this had to do with Ranked Play being open to Level 20 summoners. Part of it was because players always are, and always will be scrubs.

This is the end (and lesson) of the story. Jax is an improvisational master because he will beat you over the head with literally anything he picks up. Thus, the skin suggestion, originally suggested on August 3, 2012 by user "Nanatsu", is re-introduced by me. Jax, in some kind of theater clothing, comedy drama mask (or tragedy), and every time he spawns, he's carrying something new.

Think of all the things Jax could beat you down with. A pool noodle, a swordfish, a mop, chicken leg, a folding chair, the weapon from every other champion in the game, Teemo, a Colin Mochrie body pillow...

The technology is there. We've seen Elementalist Lux (and previously, Pulsefire Ezreal). We know that Riot can make model-changing skins. It has been four and a half years. Please consider, Riot.

*Doubleswords, of course, are item 3086 . Pink doubleswords are the pink version item 3046 . Well, Phantom Dancer used to be a pink/red-colored item. If you want proof, you can google image search for phantom dancer. I promise you'll find it.
