Is it just me or are the poppy texture updates REALLY lazy....

Its not that they are lazy, its just that Poppy is so damn ugly its near completely impossible to make her look somewhat better than a dogturd.
Yeah it's just her TU not the full VU. She'll get something a lot better later on.
Poppy just has a much grosser base model. Her pig tails are literally polygons
And seriously...Lux's model looks like she was wading in dirty water compared to her old one. Re-Record Lux's laugh, Riot...it's the most offensive sound in the whole game.
I actually disagree. They're similar to Taric's and Ashe's visual updates. I think here for Poppy, they were really just focusing on better colours with a hint of detail improvements. I think the new skins look much better than the old.
Edit: I don't know what you mean with barely different. I see many differences, i really do.
I remember when the poppy rework was announced in november, 5 months ago, I seriously thought her rework would have some sort of progress by at least March...

The thing about texture rebalancing is that sometimes, there are very few tweaks needed. I actually don't like the changes to Scarlet Hammer Poppy, myself; the other had better contrast and this one just kinda looks... dull. :/
I guess there is not much they can do about poopy without a rework.
Well of course they're not going to spend much time on this, it's a texture update, not her full VU.
