Holly, the Spirit of Fire
Description: This is my next ace pilot champion concept. Another former Screaming Yipsnake pilot named Holly. Her job in the Screaming Yipsnakes squadron is to fly into the hot zone undetected, dropping massive loads of bombs against the enemy ground units. The only way she can be spotted is on site and during operations across the sky, no radar could detect her presence due to the design of her aircraft. It is based on the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. One of the most well known bombers among many aircrafts in standard fps games like Call of Duty. Because Holly pilots a bomber, she is considered a mage. But because it is a stealth bomber, she is also an assassin class champion. Here's the details.
Stats: Attack - 10% Health - 75% Magic - 100% Difficulty - 75%
Attributes: Primary - Mage Secondary - Assassin
Abilities: Passive - Stealth Bomber None of Holly's attacks will reveal her position when hiding out of sight or hiding within brushes. However, being detected and hit by attacks will leave her revealed for 2 seconds.
First Ability - Incineration Rounds Holly shoots a fire bomb at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemies within radius of explosion and deals overtime damage to enemies who remain within the fire.
Second Ability - Carpet Bomb When active, Holly raises altitude to fly over units to drop bombs for 4 seconds, dealing magic damage per second. While this is active, she can also fly over units. This will not enable her to fly over terrain or structures.
Third Ability - Visual Interceptor This cannot be activated while Carpet Bomb is being used. Holly slowly turns invisible, unable to be seen by nearby enemies except for turrets for 4 seconds. Her next attack will remove her invisibility but enables a slow effect for 1.5 second(s).
Ultimate - The Spirit
(This controls like
's Equalizer)
When activate, Holly flies away undetected then flies back in, dropping a large wave of bombs on her trail as she flies across the the map, dealing tons of magic damage to enemies hit by the explosion. Everyone may not see the bomber but they can hear her coming with bombs ready to be dropped.
(This is like calling in the Stealth Bomber in Call of Duty)
Special Passive I - Top Ace Yipsnake If at least one fellow ace pilot from the Yipsnakes is on the same team, whichever pilot gets the most kills get 5 additional gold per kill and 10% bonus Influence Points at the end of the match.
Special Passive II - Bomber Holly deals 10% more damage against ground targets but 10% less damage against airborne targets.
Synergy:
-
Works well with
They can't be a squadron if they are not together. As Corki gets close to his foes, Holly provides cover by blowing up all the anti-air guns and other bogeys from above using The Spirit, distracting their enemies enough for Corki to finish them off.
The worst nightmare is one you cannot see. When Nocturne uses Paranoia, Holly's use of The Spirit will not only make a devestating airstrike unseen, but also keep ambushes unseen as well during the aftermath.
Cataclysm can trap the enemy so that they will not be able to evade the incoming bombs Holly has dropped, especially her Incineration Rounds. Everyone trapped inside will continue to burn as Jarvan IV beats them down with his Demacian might -
Struggles against
Holly may ride an unseen aircraft but that just gives Rengar a real Thrill of the Hunt. He may be on the ground but he's got good leaps, capable of seeing and jumping on Holly's aircraft, cutting off her engines clipping her wings.
Urgot's Noxian Corrosive Charge disables Holly's Visual Interceptor, leaving her exposed to Acid Hunter and other attacks from different sources. Not to mention being slowed by the effects of Terror Capacitor.
Sentinels are Holly's most annoying hazards. They're always following her whenever they see her. She can't use her Visual Interceptor if the sentinel already knows where she's going. This ruins her chance to ambush enemies within lanes.
Tips:
-
Playing as Holly > If you are using Carpet Bomb, remember to get enough movement speed to move over your targets then back to safety. > When activating Visual Interceptor, keep going on the path, your enemies think you are going until you are completely invisible. Then sneak into a different direction such as the opposite direction of where your pursuers are facing. > The Spirit can be used to escape fights. Pick the area on the map you want to land on that's away from the losing team fight.
-
Playing against Holly > Listen closely when Holly uses The Spirit. You can tell how close the bombing run is by how loud the explosions get. > If Holly tries to fly in to bomb your team, focus your attack on her. > In team fights, stay separate. It's hard for Holly to blow up her targets if they are too distant from each other.
Lore: Holly is one of the pilots in the Scream Yipsnakes who are known for her. . . artistic strikes. During her missions within the hot zones, enemies would fear her symbol she leaves behind in flames. It's all made of fire and the burnt corpses that fell victim to her bombing run. People within her squadron get a little scared when getting close to her. They think she's a psychotic pyro.
But Holly was misunderstood. She's actually pretty normal about her job. It's like it was another day in the office, the daily grind, a typical stroll in the park, a walk in the woods. It was all pretty normal to her.
Perhaps too normal. People found out at she use to live in a dangerous place when she was younger. Everyday in her childhood, there's always something blowing up. At the school she use to go to, there's always bomb marks everywhere. Destruction all over the walls. Some of the class room had a gigantic hole on the large chalk board. Her parents couldn't afford to move out so they had to make due of how they live in such a dangerous place. It came to the point where it became normal for Holly to live in such destructive environments. That explains why she's one of the ace pilots alongside Corki to remain cool under the fire.
When the Screaming Yipsnakes disbanded, some of her friends took her out to experience a real normal life. A very safe one. Holly of course shrugs and lets it happen. Though she was surprise to see at how clean all the buildings are compared to her destructed home. Fresh air, good food, clean water, bright sunshine, all a normal person could ask for.
Problem is, she doesn't have a normal life. She's lived her life in danger and must find a way to make a living in the safe zone. She's not pretty good at playing safe with things. There were times where she accidentally blew an entire building when working as a cook. There was another time where she crashed her automobile at a cabbage stand. She's pretty reckless when it comes to a simple day in a simple town. It was up to the point where people want her out of town.
One of the people suggested that she should join the League of Legends. Why? Because that's where most of her normal life takes place. She agrees to go but they wanted to make sure her aircraft is safe enough to not blow anything outside of the Fields of Justice.
"I don't know why people are scared. I was just doing some artwork. didn't they read that on my resume?" - Holly, clueless about her bombing skills.
Appearance:
Because the design of her aircraft is based on the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, her aircraft has wings that make her wider than
but not as big as a real B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber. Otherwise, she would be too big for the game.
Skins: Paint Bomb Holly Project Holly Omega Squad Holly
Sneak Peak Trick: There's an item in the shop with the same icon as her ultimate and the same name, The Spirit. This is something mages would benefit the most. It is an active passive item controlled the same way Holly uses it. It even has the same cool down time. However, this item can be very expensive. It costs 5000 gold. So spend your gold wisely when trying to purchase it.
