The Juggernaut Club: Part 10

In Bilgewater, the card game between Udyr and Twisted Fate is wrapping up, with the members of the club and Graves all seated around watching. Udyr lays down the last card in his hand.

: And there's the winning lay.

: NOOOO! How!? My poker face is perfect!

: Umm... we're playing Uno.

: I can't believe it! How did I lose!?

: That time you changed the color back to Red really screwed you over.

Graves shakes his head angrily.

: Come on! We HAVE to hold up OUR end of the deal now!

Everyone gets up, and leaves the room, going outside to a small harbor, where a ship is anchored.

: That the boat?

: Uh-Huh.

The members of the Juggernaut Club get aboard, and after performing all the necessary actions, shove off.

Graves and Twisted Fate then smile evilly. Mundo sees them do so, and watches Graves aim his shotgun at them.

: Mundo have bad news!

Everyone else: What?

: They double-cross us!

: YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT, DOC!

Graves uses his ult, blasting a hole in the ship. This causes the ship to split in two, with the Juggernaut Club clinging to various pieces of flotsam.

: That's what you get for beating ME, the Card Shark of League of Legends, at my own game!

Mordekaiser and Draven look at Twisted Fate with dry expressions.

: He only lives because I forgot to bring Bubbles with us.

: Once Draven gets healed, he's gonna need the doctor.

: Can Mundo be the doctor for him?

and : Sure.

: Great. Now we're gonna sink and drown because of the backpacks of gold.

: Uhh... Won't need to worry about that one, partner!

Twisted Fate and Graves open the windows of the building, revealing that everyone "left their valuables under their seat". Twisted Fate and Graves now had the gold. Darius sighs in exasperation.

: Well, now we're going to be dead AND broke. He looks, and sees that the pieces of flotsam are floating towards the Shadow Isles Emphasis on DEAD, because of where we're floating to.

Twisted Fate and Graves walk off with the backpacks of gold, laughing as the members of the Juggernaut Club float helplessly towards the Shadow Isles.

Miss Fortune jumps out of an alleyway, holding the two at gunpoint.

: Going somewhere with that gold, boys?

: Really?

: Yeah, Really?

: Come on, MF, we just stole it from them, can't we hold on to it for like, 5 minutes?

The three continue to bicker as Jhin and a drunken Gangplank round the corner.

: Ahh, and there's the gold to pay for the passage!

: What? Oh, I mean, yes, of course that's the gold, just like I'm Darius of the Juggernaut Club! Yes, Strength, Power, umm... Honor, Forever and stuff like that! Nervous laugh

Gangplank lays an explosive barrel between the three bickerers.

: We'll be taking that gold now.

Flying in the air towards Mount Targon, Garen is still tied to the witness stand from the Demacian Courtroom.

: If I don't live through this, I hope someone will tell Darius about the happenings, so I can be rewarded my Juggernaut Club membership back posthumously, at least.

He looks up, and sees Aurelion Sol flying though the air. He also notices his flight path is heading right to collide with Aurelion's!

: Hey! Golden Sun!

: Hmm?

: Look out!

Aurelion Sol turns, and Garen (And the witness stand) smack right into his face. Dazed, the dragon falls to the ground, with Garen clinging to his scales.

CRASH!

Garen emerges from the cloud of dust, still alive. He is at an outpost or small village at the base of the Mountain.

: I live to fight another day! YES!

He sees someone approaching him. He squints, trying to see who it is. The person laughs as the dust clears.

: Well my gems and crystals, look who it is!

Taric comes up and hugs Garen.

: Finally, I'm not the only one dealing with the Crown of Stone!

He takes Garen by the hand and drags him into the village.

: You'll need some supplies for the climb, my friend! You'll probably get made the Celestial Aspect of Justice when you reach the top!

(Under his breath): I have no intent of doing the climb, because I didn't do all that stuff that Poppy "sentenced" on me...

They go inside a bakery shop, owned and operated by none other than Pantheon. Leona is also there, taste-testing his cookies.

(Happy Tone): Welcome to Pantheon's Baked Goods, how can I- Turns dejected Oh, it's the Gem-nut and Justice-man. Alright, Leona, there are real customers here, I have to get back to work now.

: Awww... see me later, at Sunrise?

: We'll see.

Leona leaves the store, trying her very best to walk in a seductive and attractive manner, despite being dressed in her normal, full suit of armor. Taric and Garen both watch her as she goes. She winks at Pantheon before closing the door behind her.

Having seen them watch her, Pantheon rolls his eyes.

: Not again.

He grabs Garen by the shirt-collar and looks at him firmly.

: Listen up, Justice-man. If you're here because your little Kat-girlie dumped you, I got news for ya.

He points at the door Leona used to leave.

: Regarding THAT piece of sun-baked goodness? I GOT HERE FIRST. So keep your justice-grubbing mitts off her, see? First come, first served among the Rakkor.

Garen just raises one eyebrow.

: What about Diana?

Pantheon instantly calms down.

: Fair game on that one.

: Says who!?

Diana is suddenly seen in the room, having used her ult at some point to instantly transport herself therein. She walks up to Taric and holds her blade against his throat.

: I'm the Moon's gal first, and nobody else's, got it, Gem-nut?

: No violence allowed inside the store, Diana, you know the rules.

: Sighs

Diana lets Taric go.

: So what can I get you? The usual?

: Uh-huh.

: Moon Pies, coming up!

Leblanc, having arrived to begin her "impromptu vacation", is about to enter the store, when she sees Garen. She smiles evilly.
