[CCOS] June Results Are Here!

Congratulations to everyone who participated! The June CCOS is at an end, and it's time to announce the winners!

Special thanks to our judges Echoing(what a maroon), Skylarke, gemini333, and BeeJay98! We couldn't have done it without you!

With that said, the winner of the June CCOS is...

...a tie?!

The Polong, the Invasion's Reprisal, by Arakadia, and Tendu, the Hidden Light, by Billcurme, tie for first place with 362/440 points! And they're both Ionian too! THIS MUST BE THE WORK OF AN ENEMY STAND!

In second place, Emma, the Hexsteel Sentinel, by Raxistaicho, with a total of 356/440 points! Looks like a bad month for invasions.

In third place, Ankh, Guardian of Shurima, by Candurill, with a total of 324/440 points! REALLY bad month for invasions.

In fourth place, Amoline, the Shadow Witch, by ZaneShadow, with a total of 307/440 points! I'm getting a very strong no-invading vibe.

In fifth place, Myrsky, the Climate of Change, by FlameHalbrdOkido, with a score of 292/440 points! Yeah, just...just kinda rain on my invasion parade, why don't you.

Honorable mention to Iniquien - One of Many, by SociopathFriend, with a score of 291/440 points. It wouldn't feel right to rob you of a spotlight for being off by one point.

I'll try and get the next contest up next week. I'm going to confer with my fellow Archivists to see if there's a way to improve the CCOS and make it more accessible.

Don't take bad scores personally! No one's out to put you down - everyone's giving you feedback because they want to see you improve and do better and make something REALLY friggin' cool.

So does this mean I have to stop the self-deprecating humour? Because that's kinda my forte.

On a more serious note: I am beyond flustered and honoured to actually be tied to first. (Also: dat bot-lane doe :D) Thanks so much for all the critiques! Hopefully I'll be able to take what was written here and help iron out Tendu to be an even better idea.

On a side note: I am mortified that my critiques may have hindered Kumori and his overall score! I am so sorry! I was just trying to help :(

I'm gonna go curl up into my ball of mixed happiness and sadness now. Cheers, and see you all next month!

I have to agree Heroes of the Storm's heroes inspire me a lot. I was just starting a champion who had the same bio-kill switch mechanic like Stukov but I quickly scrapped it.

Lore has never been my speciality, and I've almost always gotten low scores from Novelty. I hope my next entrant's lore will be better, I'm trying a new way of writing it.

Man, I took so long to review concepts but I had no idea when the spreadsheet was due... I tried to ask but I got no response :( Is there any chance you can check my spreadsheet tomorrow? I really wanna make a difference and break the tie here, and I have scored all of the concepts contesting for first place!

This is awesome to hear! First time getting first place!

I've heard multiple people point out how terrible it is to have abilities on separate subpages, which I will totally fix for future sites.

It looks like I ought to be more clear on some things. Some judges didn't understand every thing, such as that the Polong gets DR too while ally Manifested, and that the Ionian invasion is not some ancient event.

Congratulations to everyone who entered, I hope your all satisfied with the results. With so many judges, we got quite a lot of feedback.

Hey, before I start writing it everywhere I want to ask you a question.

For my next concept, their supposed to be a Targonian with many myths around them. Anyways I was wondering: is the name Sarcyllcygicyff too complex? I'm wondering cause at first look Nagakaborous might seem too complex too but it was implemented. Sarcyllcygicyff is pronounced as Sar-Sill-Sigi-Ciff.

Nice too see I'm in the top five again :) I'll step up my game, but lets be honest...Arkadia and Raxistaicho are the best ^^ I havent' seen a lot from Billcurme yet though... I need to work on my lore writing skills....that will definitely get me some higher spots ^^

You have so few entries though, do you not accept some that don't meet standards?

Edit: Do you guys have a discord? I would be curious on how you guys go about creating these marvelous concepts.
