NINJAS ARE ON THE CASE
The news of Sona’s death spread far and wide in no time and, just mere hours after her death all of Runeterra knew about it. Not Shen though, he was in the Spirit World, trying as always to “keep the balance” between that world and the Material one. It had been a long battle and he was still catching his breath after returning to the Material World, when he saw something moving in the shadows. A shadow in the shadows. Zed. “How was your trip to the other side? Pretty tiring I guess?” the shadow asked. “...” Shen didn’t like talking to him, he even almost hated him for killing his father. But he knew they had to work toghether to catch that thing. After a moment of silence, Zed said “Sona is dead. It was the Golden Demon”. Even just earing that name made Shen almost furious. Almost. He had to maintain the balance. “It was in Piltover” the shadow continued “we need to move as fast as we can”. Shen started chanting “I will see you there”. “If I want you to find me” Zed laughed, then merged with the other shadows and disappeared.
While travelling, Shen thought a lot about the Golden Demon and how he was the one to blame for his and Zed’s changes, and the death of his father. But he knew he could not blame or hate anyone, because his task was greater than anything else. He had to maintain the balance.
Zed thought about the Golden Demon pretty much always. There were not many things which could distract him from the thought of how sweet revenge would taste. Except his research for power. He had to grow stronger to be able to kill that...thing.
