The Juggernaut Club: Part 61

Elsewhere in the Clubhouse/Monument, Aatrox and Garen are now exiting the Foosball room. A comically-beaten up Ezreal is flung across Garen's shoulder, and Jinx (Still bound in Aatrox's Infernal Chains) is flung across Aatrox's shoulder.

: So where should we take 'em?

: We'll fling them out the front door. Cait and Vi are bound to find them sooner or later.

: OK.

As they walk along, with Jinx wriggling and attempting, but failing, to get free of Aatrox's grip.

: We just wanted to blow up the monument! I'd already started halfway back with Urgot. So why not finish the job?

: Because I'm NOT letting these guys into the Demacian Royal Palace.

: Royal Palace?

: It was the back-up Clubhouse in case anything happened to this one. Or it WAS, until Xin made a mess of things...

: What'd he do?

: I asked him to house-sit it while I came here for one of our many meetings. To cut a long story short, it was a BIG mistake.

Looking at the beat-up Ezreal, it brings back memories of him dealing with Xin, and Garen smiles.

: Thankfully, I was able to set him straight.

: Anyways, what do you think of my performance so far? Am I worthy of joining the club?

: Told you before, didn't I? I can't give the grade until we get all these trespassers out.

: Fine...

As they walk down the main hallway, they hear a female-sounding voice yell. Though it's a bit mumbled because the door's closed.

As they approach a door, Vi smashes through it with her charged-up Q!

: GRRRR! HOLD STILL!

Paying absolutely no attention to Garen and Aatrox, (Who have the very criminals she and Caitlyn are here for) she turns around and runs back inside the main conference room. The two hear Mundo and Urgot's voices coming from inside the room.

: Mundo keep telling you, we innocent! Mundo have license to practice and everything!

: And I was too busy getting myself and Sion back to normal after Ekko's stupid Z-Drive screwed us up!

: You've had dealings with that Zaunite troublemaker!?

: Mundo had to cure him of dementia!

: Mundo?

Garen and Aatrox poke their heads inside the room. Mundo and Urgot are being chased by Vi and Caitlyn, who is trying to line up a shot on Urgot. Seeing another door leading elsewhere, Urgot flings it open and runs inside, followed by Vi and Caitlyn.

: NO! Don't lead them to Foosball room alternate entrance! THAT SUPPOSED TO BE SECRET!

Mundo runs after the 3, also paying no attention to Garen and Aatrox. Aatrox gives Garen a confused look, and he just shrugs his shoulders.

: That's par for the course on what happens in the Club.

Throughout all of this, Jinx has been trying, but failing, to get Vi's attention.

: Hey! Fat-hands! Over here!

Jinx once again tries to wriggle free. But Aatrox holds firm.

: Oh no you don't! You and that other felon are my ticket into this prestigious group!

: Not sure prestigious would be the right word, but...

: Whatever. By the way, when Mundo talked about the "alternate entrance" to the foosball room...

: It's the one WE used, yes.

: OK.

Up in the rafters, Talon sees Darius and the rest of his group as they finish climbing the stairs.

: OK, who forgot to seal the entry to the rafters?

Fed up with Talon's constant complaining, Fizz decides to speak the truth.

: YOU. The rest of us were all busy setting up the traps, which by the way have all failed to do ANYTHING to these Juggernauts aside from annoy them.

: Hmph, Regardless, we're going to have to go down to the floor levels now that they've found this.

: What about-

But Talon refuses to listen and jumps down to the ground floor. Sighing, Fizz follows. Shaco, on the other hand (and his clone) ignore Talon's orders and stays up in the rafters.

: I can just stay here, invisible for as long as I want!

As they walk the rafters, Darius and the others keep a sharp lookout for Talon and his fellows.

: He's in here somewhere. I can feel it.

: We can smell his cowardice.

: Excuse me?

: The only thing Draven smells is gunpowder. Coming from that!

The others look as Draven points, revealing the lodged Super-Mega-Death Rocket of Jinx's, it still having not exploded.

: Holy Crap! OK, getting THAT thing out now takes priority.

They walk up and take a spot in front of the rocket.

: OK, Push on 3. 1....2....3!

The 3 Juggernauts (And Draven) push with all their might, and eventually dislodge the rocket. It falls out onto the ground outside, still not exploding upon colliding with the ground.

From a window in the hallway, Jinx watches the rocket fall to the ground.

: OH come on!

However, they are now at the front door, which Garen promptly opens. He flings Ezreal out while Aatrox throws Jinx. The two land on the ground outside. Landing on a small ridge, Jinx can see the dazed Jayce and Kled around the back route.

: Jayce! Can we play Hide the Rocket in your mouth now?!

Still dazed, Jayce doesn't understand what she's asking.

: S-sure...

: Oh good, then help me out of these stupid chains!

: Good luck with that, only I can choose when to cause them to vanish.

: No fair...
