Share Your Unique Champion Concepts!
As League continues to grow it becomes more difficult to release new and distinct champions. I think overall Riot has done a pretty good job with all the recent reworks and releases; however, there are concepts they have yet to experiment with. That being said, I thought it’d be neat to make a thread where the community compiles the champion concepts they’ve thought of that are completely novel to League of Legends.
Try to keep each concept to one or two sentences max, because this is more about the big-picture than the nitty-gritty details. Feel free to link us to your own forum pages to check out your champion ideas in depth, but try to avoid talking about all their stats and abilities here.
1) Specialist who doesn’t lane or fight, but instead manipulates minion waves, sends couriers to shop for allies, and helps with vision.
2) Warden who focuses on reflecting damage back towards attackers, and redirecting projectile attacks from both allies and enemies in surprising directions.
3) Ranged ADC who fills the support role with a kit focused on amplifying other marksmen's attacks and sieging down turrets quickly if given the opportunity.
4) Melee AP assassin who fills the support role. With the recent advent of Pyke I think this could be a natural and exciting follow-up, and unfortunately, Ekko just doesn’t get the job done as a support.
5) Specialist who tames the neutral monsters into being their fighting companions. Similar to the current Mordekaiser dragon passive but for the jungle at large.
6) Melee carries that are viable in the bottom lane. Certain "kill lanes" are already viable, but for people to start utilizing them more often, we need multiple champions designed with a kill lane in mind (like the current Mordekaiser built around XP sharing).
