This all I have ever wanted to know when Ao Shin was never mentioned beyond a certain point, is he still being considered or has his idea evolved into what is now Bard? Please, for a long time dreamer, I just want an answer.
He was pushed back into the void of reworking the idea as they ran into a lot of issues with his design. So he might not even be made ever.
I believe he is still in progress, and for all we know, is no longer Ao Shin, just like Elise was previously going to be Priscila, Azir was known as Seth the sand mage, and Vel'Koz, Professor Eyebeam. I do believe he will be released, maybe even this year (yes, can feel like a very long time). Riot really wanted to release an actual Fully Dragon Champion, (sorry Shyvana
) and also mentioned they wanted to take a really long time to assure the population of league players that they were delivering a real, live, awesome Dragon Champion. He is still in the making.
His core gameplay didn't work out so he needed a complete rework before release.
