Introduction Hi everyone! I'm Rizerr. I've been playing League of Legends since June 2013, and I thought it might be time to flex my creative muscles and try to create some champion concept stuff! It probably won't make it into the game, but It's fun to try, and I'd love to have a little bit of feedback on my ideas! So, this is my very first champion concept. I introduce to you;** Mycah, the Mana Weaver!**

Background and Discription

Gender: Female
Race: Human Birthplace: Ionia Residence: ? Occupation: Wanderer Rivals: ? Friends: ?

**Lore: ** (Since i'm not a very good story writer, I can't make lore. However, I do have a certain Idea that came to mind when making this champion. My first Idea was Mycah being the daughter of the 'Old Mage' Syndra killed in her story, but as someone in the comments had pointed out, it was a real cliche'. Now, I think I'm going to go for what initially gave me the idea of this champion. In Hearthstone, there is a card. The Mana Addict.. Here goes!)

When Mycah was just a child, she was transfixed by the magic she had so often seen used in Ionia. Magic that could bend the wind, magic that could move the stars, magic that could heal wounds. She too, had the gift of magic, and it was unique. She had the ability to manipulate the source of magic itself. Mana. However, this power came at a price. Her awe and wonderment towards the magical arts had soon manifested itself into a hunger, then an obsession, and now, an addiction. Her powers were great, but left her with a craving that could only be satisfied by taking from others. As she and her power grew and matured, so had her thirst for mana. Soon, her hunger became uncontrollable. She deceived, lied, and murdered all around her to quench the thirst. She tried to stop, but to no avail. Her uncontrollable appetite appalled her. The hunger was too great. Too much blood on her hands, she felt no other choice but to banish herself from Ionia. "How could you call this a gift? What is a gift if with it such a terrible price?" -Mycah, The Mana Weaver

**Apperance and Persona: ** (Not only can I not write lore, but I can't draw either... Man of many talents? No. Although, I can try to describe the Mycah I see in my mind as best as I can!)

Mycah is kind-hearted, and fears what she can do to people who have done nothing wrong. She tries her best to spend time isolated and moving. She never stays in the same place for too long, and tries to cut out any attempts at friendship. She uses her magic only when necessary, in fear that her thirst will get the best of her at the wrong time. She is caucasian, tall, sleek, and has a posh accent. Her hair is slightly curled, and jet black. She wears a sleeveless dark blue dress, with a faded, brownish, high-waisted sash as a belt. She prefers to be modest, and wears a dim turquoise cloak, made of a velvet-like material to hide her face, shoulders, and arms, which is held shut with a bronze medallion just above her breast. Reference: Morgana , from the TV show Merlin (2008-2012)

Splash Art: I imagine the splash art being Mycah in the center of a populated town setting, with the focus on her, and the people and buildings being slightly blurred. She is looking back, her cloak slightly covering her face, and her hair dropping in front from one side. She looks worried, and slightly panicked. Over her cloak, where her heart is located, shadowy-blue tendrils are reaching outward, but shes trying to conceal it by slightly hunching over and covering it with her arms. The aim of this is to depict her struggle with keeping herself under control when the hunger inside of her is trying to break loose.

Champion Primary Role: Mage Secondary Role: Support

Passive- Mana Addict Mycah cannot regenerate mana passively. Instead, she flows between two states. Thristing, and Sated. She starts every game Thirsting, and she is unable to use mana potions.

Thirsting: At 0% mana, Mycah begins thirsting. During thirsting, her spells regenerate mana, and scale with ability power, and give mana based on mana regeneration. Sated: At 100% mana, Mycah becomes sated. During sated, her spells expel mana, and scale with mana.

Q- Surge/Siphon Surge: Using (4%) of her mana, Mycah launches a bolt of mana toward a target location. Upon enemy hit, explodes in a small radius to deal damage and slow. Upon ally champion hit, restores mana to a single target. Ignores allied minions. Siphon: Mycah channels a spell on a target enemy, dealing damage over time and applying a slow which decays over the channel duration. Each tick of damage also procs Wild Magic. Its damage intervals scale with Attack Speed. When canceled, Mycah is given a speed boost which scales on the amount of time the spell was channeled. Regenerates (6%) mana.

W- Barrier/Wild Magic Barrier: Mycah drains (10%) of her maximum mana to give an ally champion a large shield for 8 seconds. Wild Magic: Mycah marks a target enemy champion with Wild Magic for 8 seconds, restoring (10%) mana and adding damage to every auto attack against them.

E- Mana Bomb/Mana Frenzy Mana Bomb: Mycah uses (15%) of mana to conjure a sphere on a target location. After a very short delay, the sphere becomes armed. Both allies and enemies can trigger the bomb, restoring an evenly split amount of mana to allies as well as movement speed, and dealing a burst of damage to enemies. Mana Frenzy- Mycah's thirst for mana increases, temporarily granting her increased attack and movement speed for 8 seconds. When on cooldown, Mycah passively regenerates mana from dieing minions (1%), monsters (2% for large monsters), and champions (10%).

R- Absorb/Expel Absorb(Thirsting)- Mycah conjures a large ring that quickly collapses upon her location. Any enemy player caught in the ring loses all of their resource. (Mana, energy, fury, rage, ferocity, etc) for 1-4 seconds. During these seconds, Mycah gains 50% additional movement speed. After 4 seconds, all of the enemy resource is returned, and Mycah gains 100% Mana. (Duration depends on how much mana Mycah has. 0% = 4 sec, 25%= 3, 50% = 2, 75% =1). Expel(Sated)- Mycah expels a ring around her, quickly expanding away from her location. Any enemy player caught in the ring takes damage scaling on Mycah's abiliy power and mana percent. Also grants team 50% mana and energy. Instantly loses all mana. (100 ability power + 100% mana = 200 magic damage/ 100 ability power + 50% mana = 100 magic damage.)

Explanations The playstyle for Mycah revolves around her passive. The playstyle for Mycah is managing your mana, and building around how you use it. The goal is to give players a champion that is very flexible in its playstyle. Lets take Ezreal, for example. There is AD Ezreal, and AP Ezreal. These two have slightly different playstyles when it comes to decision making and fighting, but I want to make a champion that changes more dramatically depending on your choices.

Passive Essentially, people would be building her depending on what type of play style suits their game the best.

For example, Thirsting build. You build Ability Power and Attack Speed, making full use of your Damage Over Time kit. You want to focus on taking full advantage of when you use these spells, because each activation of them gain mana, and when you reach 100% mana, that Ability Power and Attack speed drastically loses its value. When someone building AP and AS become Sated, they want to use up all of their mana as soon as they can so that they can get back to being Thirsting. A player would aim to build Thirsting Mycah when paired with a team that largely uses Auto Attacks, since her allies can proc Wild Magic damage.

A Sated build would be building Mana and Mana regeneration. The Mana would be needed so that her Sated abilities will scale better, and the Mana Regeneration will be needed so that she can get her mana back as fast as possible when Thirsting. Just like a Thirsting build, a Sated build wants to make sure she uses her abilities wisely. If she uses her abilities and they miss or don't go to use, that effects Mycah more than it does normal Mana using champions because she can't regenerate mana unless shes thirsting, and if shes thirsting, her spells don't scale with mana and she is left vulnerable. A player would aim to build Sated Mycah when paired with a team that uses a lot of mana, and/or a team that takes a lot of damage and are in more need of her shields.

But since there are many items that give both mana and ability power, Mycah doesn't need to suffer much if she falls into the state she hasn't been building. There could be builds that give her both mana AND ability power, but that would leave her a jack of both trades, master of none. Meaning, as it is a safer build, it wouldn't be as effective if she was built solely with AP or Mana.

Ultimate The Ultimate Ability is meant to be a switch. It gives players a way to instantly change between Thirsting, and Sated. More than just that, it also gives players a choice. Do I want to use my ult to 'silence' their abilities for 1-4 seconds, or do I want to use the ultimate to damage them? If I want to do maximum damage, I need to get to 100% mana. If I want to drain them for as long as possible, I need to get to 0% mana.

-More Soon-

Quotes Upon selection: "I.. I must have control."

Reaching 0% Mana: "Noo! I need more! I must have MORE!" "I can't control it! I need MANA!" "The mana shall be MINE!"

Reaching 100% Mana: "No- what have I done!?" "No! So much carnage.." "At what price, have they paid?"

Movement: Sated- "I will try.." "One step at a time.." Thirsting- "I can sense it.." "Yes! There!"

Death: "Is.. is it over?" "I'm.. free..." "Rest, at last.."

Ulting: Absorb- "It's MINE! All MINE!" "Your mana is USELESS against ME!" Expel- "I can't take it anymore!" "AGHHHH!"

Buying a mana potion: "What? How do you use this?" "I drink this thing?" "Uhh clink clink what's this?" "It's a WHAT potion!?"

Joke: "You wouldn't happen to have a.. mana patch... Would you?"

Conclusion So, there is my first champion concept post! I would love some feedback and discussion on this post! I'm open to making any adjustments, tuning, or questions anybody might have!

FaQ Q: Where are the stats? Health? Mana? Damage? Cooldowns? etc, A: Before I invest time into putting actual numbers in, I want to finalize what Mycah can and cannot do. I've already been through 5 different possible kits, and this is most likely to change. Also, it's not like the champion is actually going to be put into the game.. if she does, though, (crossing my fingers!), I think the best capable people to balance numbers like that is Riot!

Changelog 01/09/15- Changed from Mana Weaver, to Mana Addict. Changed A LOT of the play style. Added Explanations. Added more quotes. 02/09/15- Even more quotes! Tweaks to Siphon from a target area AoE to a channeled target ability. Touches to Ult to scales its effectiveness with mana percentage, and added Appearance/Personality concept, as well as a link to an image I used as reference.

I love the idea of a champion with mana bar gone wild. The thing is, there is actually quite a lot of champions who don't use mana as a resource, which is a huge wrench in your works, since her abilities would make her a direct counter against already disadvantaged mana users. I suggest removing any resource draining, gifting or shifting, and focus on her split states, as those are the main point around which Mycah would be balanced. I therefore suggest to rework her completely. It might sound harsh, but think about Mycah in terms of balance. The basic concept sounds good on paper, but you need to improve the execution. Btw the lore is quite a cliché, you might wanna add some Original spice (TM). ;P

Seems like she'd have a crazy high skill cap, but she sounds really fun and like a good champion to play. Also, I recommend adding some numbers and leveling right now, the kit is very vaguely described.
