We need to change the colors of upvotes and downvotes on the forums

I feel that the forums might have this more lively atmosphere if we added back our colors to upvoting and downvoting. It will make it much easier to identify a good or bad post rather than look for a tiny negative sign.

Something super subtle might be ideal, rather than bright Christmas colors. I don't think it's necessarily an issue right now (there are a lot of other aesthetic things I have a huge issue with), but it could be nice to be able to tell at a glance which posts are positive and negative.

Impressive, doing that with paint!

Can I suggest using Gimp? It's like a free (in both senses of the word) version of photoshop. It has a TON of features so it can be difficult to pick up at first, but it makes things like this super easy.

This change can help:

From:

.box.main { background-color: #021B20; } .box.secondary { rgb(3,35,42); } '#comments { padding: 0px 10px; }

To:

.box.main { background-color: rgba(2,27,32,0.5); } .box.secondary { rgba(3,35,42,0.5); } '#comments { padding: 0px 10px; }

Like Fek already does for us?

Arduno is correct, if you get FEK it will do exactly what you want.

There are also avatars too; here's the thread for it:
