We need to be able to report OPs

Because, quite simply, there are TONS of discussions that are in completely the wrong board. Or just... not discussions that should have been posted.

There are discussions that never get deleted by moderators that are in completely the wrong board.

So I suppose

A) Moderators need to actually check all the sub-boards (don't say that they do because they clearly don't) and actually move (well, delete) the content that doesn't belong in that section-- A, B, C, D, E-- are all posts that would be much better served if placed elsewhere.

or B) We need to be able to report OPs so that moderators will actually check and delete threads that are in the wrong section.

I don't get it. Is there a board where you can't report the thread? I don't know any that don't have the report option.

You are already able to report threads as being in the wrong place.

Have you tried this with a different browser, say the most recent version of Chrome?

No, because the boards fail to load content about 90% of the time on Chrome.

[And don't you dare say that I should try Internet Explorer.]

I can see where you're coming from, but Riot's got a lot to deal with as it is. Threads on the board being in a bad place isn't a really big deal, just scroll past them. I could see it implemented in the future, but right now Riot's got a lot of their plate. They seem to delete most of the bad ones.

Odd, you are missing the entire line, the button should actually be below your screenshot and there should also be an option to share on facebook and twotter.

Yay, I love broken forums.

. ...... ... .... .. ....... .... .... .. . .... ...... ....... .... . .. .... .. .... ..... .... .. ..... ....... ..... ... .... .. .. I should not have to explain that that is a very stupid thing that I am glad to have never seen or heard existing until you told me so.

(But seriously, what's the point in having such buttons? If they want to read it they'll read it, if I think it's important I can figure out how to get it on those myself, I don't need a button.

Lord knows how much I hate facebook/twitter and their associated "share this here" buttons that started existing.)

Btw Im using Firefox 30 and everything is fine.

And even when using the Classic Theme Restorer I cannot get everything exactly the way it is that I love, so I'm stuck on 28. d:

[i got lazy with quotes please forgive me]

That's not quite what I was getting at. What I meant was, having an idea for a champion (or a Skin/Champion Concept) in the Tips & Tricks category doesn't matter, you can just scroll past those if that's not what you're looking for.

This is not true.

Due to infinite-scrolling webpages and... what I'm inclined to say would be 'most of the forum-goers' not having phenomonal computers/internet speeds, each post that isn't related to what you're looking for adds up as you want to delve through "pages"-- say you want to find something but it happens to be 20 "pages" deep. The number of threads that you will encounter that are completely unrelated to the subforum you're on will probably add up to at least half a page's worth of threads, possibly a whole page-- and that's only for 20 pages. 40? 60? 80? It's ALREADY impossible to load (The Boards just don't cooperate with it), but if that ever gets fixed, I'd rather not have a fair portion of the RAM of my (not very good) computer be loaded with _completely unrelated things to the subforum I'm in_.

Riot's doing a perfectly good job of moderating spam on the boards as it is, I was trying to say that Riot shouldn't be wasting more resources on extra board moderation when it's being handled fairly well already.

I've seen plenty of spam threads not get deleted... I've seen plenty of threads that are in the wrong section stay in the wrong section for over a month...

I disagree with the statement '[forum moderation is] being handled fairly well already' quite heavily.

  1. It's more of a complaining thread than a suggestion thread. It seems like he's just aggravated that things are exactly right, or exactly the way he would handle the situation.

Well, yes, I was aggravated and in a hurry so I didn't make this as good as I should have.

But imagine this scenario:

You enter a thread that gets continually bumped by the OP. The OP then spams replies to the thread and deletes those replies, causing the thread to stay bumped. You can't report the posts, since they're already deleted, and you can't report the topic post-- there's no button.

What do you do? You can't send in a ticket (there isn't an option for it), and you can't request something be done (as that falls under name-and-shame which evidently gets accounts banned).

Hence, "we need to be able to report [topic posts]".

And then rushing off to the important thing that you have to do. In my case, go to classes.

According to him, there's really no reason that this thread isn't deleted.

Well, you'd be correct, I think that since the button already exists, this thread should be locked.

Me not being able to see it is a different problem.

  1. There already is a place where you can report threads and comments, so in theory this thread should also be deleted for it's complete and utter uselessness and lack of contribution.
