The Boards vs Reddit

Seeing more and more that Riot wants to use Reddit over what they have spent months and months working on and possibly thousands of dollars makes me a bit uneasy, what do you think?

Why are many Rioters reluctant or flat out refuse to use the Boards?

What was the purpose of the boards when it is more likely to get responses over on Reddit?

How will this affect the development of the boards?

In what ways is Riot trying to advertise or get people to use the boards over Reddit?

When are we going to see Rioters post about big subjects on the boards over Reddit?

Who is going to be the first Rioter to say they need to use what they created to communicate with the players over a third party site?

When is the boards to become the main source of communication like it was intended?
