Item Icons, Lets talk updates
For the last two seasons items that are in constant use have been getting updates to their icons. Now it seems that there are still a large amount of items that have really old art used for them. I noticed this when i just got out of one of my last games as shen in URF. I had Zz'Rot, Warmogs, Tabi's, Thornmail, GA, and a ruby crystal and as I was in the after match screen it dawned on me how outdated the Warmog's and GA's art was compared to Zz'Rot. As such I have a few questions for people.
Questions for Rioters:
- Why did the item asset updates stop?
- Will there be more in the future or only upon new items?
- Who or what department does the item assets?
Questions for Players:
- What items do you think need new icons the most?
- Are there any items that's art does not represent their function?
- Do any of the items names and art seem contradictory?
needs a new icon. I don't care how many people disagree, I want this simply to see what Riot would do with it. I'm really interested in wondering how they'll figure this one out.
isn't a visage at all. It's a jacket. A visage refers to the face, so if anything an item called "Spirit Visage" should be a mask or helmet. Hell that'd make way more sense since it builds out of

I feel like these two could have better looking icons, but otherwise they're pretty cool in my books. Frozen Mallet just looks quite blocky to me and 
just looks better.
