Can there be an option to see( follow) when a bored post is updated ( such as an edit , new reply post added)

Sorry late to your thread, your asking for an option to follow a thread that you didn't make right ? If so, Yes I'd like that option also. Sometimes I'd like to see what others have to say on a subject but don't want to comment in the thread and even if I make a comment I could find the original thread but it is time consuming.
Since I read a Lot on here I'd really like something like this. Thanks for the post :)
