one downvote? multiple threads
so it takes one downvote to move a thread off of the "hot" page.
which means logically, if you want your opinions to be seem, better make multiple threads incase one gets a single downvote.

You should probably check out my reply to your previous post. And I might suggest not to keep p the multiple posts bit, or you'll become aware of another feature you may not have seen "Report for Spam".
The voting system concerns have been readily addressed and by a many number of people. For example look at 'Best' and read a few posts there.
