This is not the way to handle this situation. Please don't exacerbate the issue, threads like this will only down spiral into toxic flaming and we don't want that, whether in this format or in GD.

What other way is there? We don't want to make a new forum. We don't want to use Reddit. We want to use a traditional forum. How hard is that?

And in what way was he being toxic? He just stated his opinion. Well, Since there is a downvote option and you don't agree with this specific opinion, downvote him.

AND THEREIN LIES THE ISSUE AT PRESENT! All it takes are a few FEK or well known circlejerkers and all of the sudden any thread that doesn't outright agree with Riot or this forum gets downvoted to oblivion.

And though you yourself may not have downvoted, you still serve as the perfect example as to why this system in it's modern interpretation fails when given to a community such as this.

Opinions man.

I was originally just going to post this

but thought id make my opinions on the matter clear.

Okay first: So when I see a new post regardless of it being a new thread or a reply, it starts at one. Is that a bug? Given this conversation, I will assure you, I'm not actually trolling. Just seems odd. If it's new and presumably no one has seen said post, why automatically be one? Should it not be zero?

Second: I get it, his post wasn't detailed as to why he doesn't like the new format. He didn't bring to attention any of his own disparities regarding said forum. However, he did bring one thing to attention. If a thread in the future after this site gets implemented arises on the topic of a Sion rework (this is an example), then if everyone is too busy in another thread comparing their summoner icons and everyone keeps upvoting, that perfectly fine Sion thread gets thrown into the trash.

This forum, whether Riot wants it to or not, will be GD 2.0, now with less opinions and more icons.
